Hotel Description

You know what caught me off guard about شقة فندقية على البحر? The name literally means “hotel apartment on the sea” in Arabic, and honestly – they weren’t kidding about that sea part. I mean, you’re literally right across from Swaqi Beach, and I could hear the waves from my room at night, which was actually pretty nice once I got used to it.

The location on Al-Qiyadat Street is interesting because you’re sort of in this quieter pocket of Hurghada, away from the main tourist chaos near the marina, but still close enough to everything. It’s one of those 3-star places that punches above its weight – I’ve stayed in plenty of 4-star hotels with worse ratings than this place’s 8.8. The apartment-style setup works really well if you’re planning to stay more than just a couple nights, which a lot of people do in Hurghada anyway. There’s actually a little kitchenette situation going on, nothing fancy but you can make coffee in the morning and keep some snacks around, which saves you from those overpriced hotel minibars.

What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to get that most guests here are either diving enthusiasts or just people who want to chill by the Red Sea without breaking the bank. The check-in was surprisingly smooth – no weird hidden fees or confusing explanations about the WiFi password. Speaking of which, the internet actually worked, which honestly isn’t always a given in this part of Egypt. The rooms themselves have that slightly dated but clean feel, you know what I mean? Like your aunt’s guest bedroom, but with a sea view and better air conditioning. I stayed during shoulder season in October, and it was perfect – warm enough for swimming but not that brutal summer heat that makes you never want to leave the AC. The beach across the street gets busy with locals on weekends, which I actually loved because it felt more authentic than those sterile resort beaches. Just be prepared for some friendly curiosity if you’re obviously a tourist. Parking wasn’t an issue when I was there, though I imagine it might get trickier during peak season. For the price point, this place really delivers on that “wake up and walk to the beach in two minutes” promise, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need from a Hurghada stay.

  Location was good.
  Because the apartment was opposite of a free beach.
  And that is not often in Hugharda.

  The view is unbeatable. I like waking up early and just sit by the large window in the living room, looking at the sea 😄 There's 3 bedrooms, enough and comfortable for a family of 6-7 👍🏻 It's near the city centre, lots of restaurants nearby to eat 😊
  The owner is extremely gracious, went out the length to make our stay comfortable 😁 Thank you so much ❤️
  
  What could be improved: There's always room for improvement for the otherwise comfortable house 😄,
  my little 2-cent is maybe can add more mats around the house? As the majority people coming to Hurghada is for the sea and desert activities, there can be extra sands around upon coming back from the activities 😇

  Apartament duży, wygodne łóżka, piękny widok na morze z okna w salonie. Kontakt z gospodarzem świetny- mimo że przyjechaliśmy w środku nocy. Lokalizacja dosłownie 2 kroki od Family Beach. Małe markety ok 50 m od apartementu. Polecam.

  Comfortable apartment with sea view. 3 Rooms with 5 beds one of them king-size and 4 single bedes. We are family with 6 person so it was perfect. All roomes have air-condition working good. The kitchen have all what we need. It was nice 4 Dayes there.
  اجازه عائلية اربع ايام. كانت الشقه مريحه و المتعلقات جديده. فرش نظيف. جميع الغرف مكيفه بالكامل. غرفة المعيشه لها اطلاله علي البحر. 3 غرف و خمس سراير منهم سرير كينج بد. شاشة تلفزيون كبيره. المطبخ به جميع الأغراض. سوبر ماركت و محلات قريبه. كارفور قريب دقيقه بالسيارة.
  
  What could be improved: The beach is safe for family with littel kids. Water is 60cm hight but not for Real swimming . The toilette is small for a gruppe or family use.

  La casa è spaziosa e abbastanza nuova internamente. Bella vista sul mare. Il proprietario ha risolto brevemente un problema di connessione internet.
  
  What could be improved: Al nostro arrivo non c'era nessuno e abbiamo dovuto aspettare da soli in una via secondaria per almeno 20 minuti, non eravamo tranquilli. La pulizia molto scarsa.

  Хорошая, просторная квартира с отличным хозяином, который старался сделать наше проживание приятным, даже предложил остаться бесплатно на одну ночь. Местоположение тоже очень удобное, рядом ресторанчики и кафе, большой торговый центр с магазином Carrefour, отель Хилтон, пляж прямо напротив, через дорогу.
  
  What could be improved: В квартире присутствует некоторая запущенность жилья, которая все портит, необходимо навести чистоту, если рассчитываете принимать гостей европейцев.
