You know what caught me off guard about Casa Blanca Beach 220? It’s actually got this laid-back, unpretentious vibe that’s pretty refreshing in Hurghada. I mean, you’re right there on the Red Sea coast – literally a five-minute walk to some decent snorkeling spots – but without all the flashy resort nonsense that can make you feel like you’re trapped in a theme park.

The location on Tariq Al-Ahyaa is honestly perfect if you want to experience actual Egyptian life beyond the tourist bubble. There’s this little coffee shop about two blocks down where locals hang out in the evening (the ahwa gets crowded around sunset, which tells you it’s the real deal), and you can grab fresh bread from the bakery that opens ridiculously early – like 5 AM early. The hotel itself sits in this sort of residential-meets-commercial area, so you get the authenticity without being stuck in the middle of nowhere. Parking’s not terrible, which is saying something for Hurghada, though you might have to circle the block once or twice during busy periods.

Look, it’s a solid 3-star place that knows what it is. The rooms are clean – actually clean, not just “Egyptian clean” if you know what I mean – and the air conditioning works properly, which honestly matters more than fancy marble when it’s 40 degrees outside. The staff speaks decent English and they’re genuinely helpful rather than just going through the motions. I stayed there during Ramadan once and they were super respectful about meal timing and explanations about local customs. The Wi-Fi actually reaches the rooms (revolutionary concept, I know), and the water pressure’s consistent. Sure, you might hear some street noise in the morning – welcome to Egypt – but it’s not the kind of chaos that keeps you up at night. The 7.4 rating feels about right; it’s not going to blow your mind, but you’ll leave thinking “yeah, I’d stay there again.” Especially if you’re the type who wants to explore Hurghada’s markets and local restaurants rather than being stuck at some all-inclusive resort where everything costs three times what it should.

  The location is excellent. Just beside red sea with a private beach. Very polite and helpful host. A great apartment with all basic facilities.

  Great pools very clean and the beach was one of the best I have been to in hurghada after staying in around 30 different places, lovely clean room that includes everything you need inc, washing machine and the owner of the property was always more then happy to help you with anything you needed. 😀

  Alles vorhanden was nötigt ist.

  Vom Stadtzentrum ein Stück entfernt.

  What could be improved: -Wie fast überall in Ägypten ist der Abfluss im Badezimmer meist verstopft.
  Hier war es auch nicht anders.
  -Das internet ist sehr schlecht. Dadurch dass das Hotel so groß ist und zubetoniert ist, funktioniert auch das eigene Internet nicht.
