You know what struck me first about this penthouse? The moment you step onto that roof terrace, you’re basically floating above Abu Tig Marina with the entire scene spread out below you. I mean, most places in El Gouna give you glimpses of the water, but this spot – honestly, it’s like having your own private viewing deck over one of the Red Sea’s prettiest marinas.

The two-bedroom setup actually works really well if you’re traveling with friends or family. The space feels genuinely spacious, not like those cramped “penthouses” you sometimes get stuck with. What I loved was how the terrace connects to the main living area – you end up spending most of your time outside anyway because the breeze off the water keeps things comfortable even when Hurghada gets seriously hot. And the view changes throughout the day, which sounds cheesy but it’s true. Morning coffee watching the boats bob around, then later you’ve got people wandering the marina boardwalk, and honestly some of the best sunsets I’ve seen in Egypt happen right from those terrace chairs.

Location-wise, you’re right in the heart of Abu Tig, so you can walk to pretty much everything that matters in El Gouna. The marina restaurants are literally a two-minute stroll – I probably ate at Mokai and Casa Nostra way too many times because it was so easy. If you want to hit the main Tamr Henna square or catch one of those tuk-tuks to Downtown, you’re talking maybe ten minutes on foot. Parking isn’t really an issue here (unlike some parts of El Gouna where it gets weird), and the marina area stays lively but not crazy loud at night. Actually, the sounds you get are kind of perfect – water lapping, some distant music from the restaurants, but nothing that’ll keep you awake if you’re a light sleeper like me. The whole Abu Tig area has this laid-back but sophisticated vibe that’s hard to find elsewhere along the Red Sea coast. I stayed during shoulder season in April and it felt just right – busy enough to have energy but not so packed that you’re fighting for space everywhere you go.
