A Stunning Seaview Penthouse; 3bedrooms + nanny

So I stumbled across this penthouse in El Gouna pretty much by accident – was actually looking for something smaller but honestly? Best mistake I’ve made in a while. The place sits right at the entrance to El Gouna, which means you get that dramatic first glimpse of the Red Sea stretching out forever, but you’re also perfectly positioned to duck into town whenever you need actual coffee or want to grab dinner at one of those waterfront spots.

The thing that got me right away was how the whole apartment just opens up to the sea view – I mean, you walk in and it’s like someone designed the entire space around that massive terrace. Three bedrooms sounds standard enough, but the way they’ve laid it out feels more like a proper home than hotel accommodation. The master bedroom basically spills onto the deck, so you wake up to that ridiculous blue water view without even getting out of bed. And that nanny room? Turned out to be perfect for my friend who snores – far enough away that nobody’s disturbed, but still part of the whole experience. The kitchen’s actually functional too, which you can’t always count on in vacation rentals. We ended up cooking breakfast most mornings just because sitting on that terrace with fresh fruit and coffee while watching the boats drift by felt better than any restaurant.

What really surprised me was how quiet it stays up there, even though you’re basically at the main entrance to the whole resort area. El Gouna gets pretty buzzy during peak season – you know, families with kids running around, music from the beach clubs drifting over – but something about being elevated just enough puts you above most of the noise. The building itself is solid too; none of that thin-wall nonsense where you hear every conversation from the next unit. Parking was straightforward, which honestly matters more than people think when you’re hauling luggage and beach gear around. The whole check-in process was refreshingly simple – none of that formal hotel desk drama, more like someone’s just handing you the keys to their really nice place. I’d probably book it again just for those sunset hours on the terrace, when the water turns all golden and the wind picks up enough to make the heat actually pleasant. It’s the kind of spot where you find yourself staying in more than you planned, which for a 9.2 rating, makes perfect sense to me.

  Large appartment with everything inside. Close to the kite spots. Supermarket very close. Rooftop terrace amazing.

  Great location, walkable to Abu Tig but also great to see the other side of El Gouna with Fanadir Marina two minutes away. Lots of space, light, great facilities and plenty of room would come back with kids.

  What could be improved: Uber is not the easiest and tok tok is available but only takes 3 people each so it can be difficult to get 2 for a family. Getting into the apartment was always hard due to closed roads works causing diversions to go around but once you are at the location it is amazing

  The apartment was very well furnished and felt very homey. Roof deck was also very nicely furnished with a nice dining area and seating.

  Very nice apartment. Liked everything. near the sea restaurants shop. Plenty of space even for a family of eight. very clean. large BBQ area on the roof. used very often. the owner is always in touch. we will definitely come again
