Look, I’ll be honest with you – when I first saw “basement” in the name Abeer Suites 4, I was a bit skeptical. But here’s the thing about Hurghada that most people don’t realize: the newer developments in Arabia zone are actually built smart, and this place totally surprised me in the best way. The location at 177 Arabia zone puts you right in this quieter residential area that’s honestly a relief from all the tourist chaos closer to the marina. You’re still only about a 10-minute ride to the main strip, but you can actually sleep at night without hearing drunk tourists stumbling around at 3 AM.

What I really appreciated – and this is something you only notice when you’ve stayed in enough Egyptian hotels – is that they’ve got the basics down solid. The air conditioning actually works (crucial in Hurghada’s heat), the water pressure is decent, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every five minutes like some places I could mention. The rooms are clean and functional, nothing fancy but you know what? Sometimes that’s exactly what you want. I mean, you’re probably going to be out diving or exploring most of the day anyway. The staff genuinely tries to help, though don’t expect perfect English – a few Arabic phrases or some patience with Google Translate goes a long way. They helped me figure out the local bus routes to Sekalla, which honestly saved me a fortune on taxi rides.

The 7.5 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it delivers on what it promises without the inflated prices of the beachfront properties. I stayed here during shoulder season in March, and the whole Arabia zone was pleasantly quiet. You’ve got a decent supermarket about a five-minute walk away (handy for water and snacks), and there’s this little local restaurant nearby that does incredible koshari for like 20 Egyptian pounds – the kind of spot you’d never find if you stuck to the resort areas. Parking isn’t an issue if you rent a car, which I’d actually recommend for getting around Hurghada properly. The Red Sea is what you came for anyway, and you’re close enough to all the dive centers and boat operators without paying tourist-zone accommodation prices. Just manage your expectations – this is solid 3-star territory that actually earns its rating rather than disappointing you.

  the appartment is in the basement . the host upgraded me to Abeer 2 free of charge ,
  
  abeer 4 has new furniture ,the flat is few steps down and it has its own internet . the building is only 2 minutes away from talateen street where a lot of restaurants ,coffeshops and pharmacies exist . and the main street wher you can take a microbus to sakala square
  it is about 5 to7 minutes walk from the public beach [ there are many beaches on the left hand side , you can pay entrance fees and use anyone you like]

  What could be improved: Es handelt sich um eine KELLERWOHNUNG OHNE FENSTER! Das war aus der Beschreibung bei Booking nicht zu entnehmen. Den in der Beschreibung angepriesenen "Hot Tub" gab es nicht. Der Wasserrohrbruch in der 2. Nacht, der die komplette Kellerwohnung 2cm unter Wasser setzte, brachte mich dann zum Auszug. Booking hat auf meine REKLAMATION NICHT REAGIERT, ich versuche jetzt mein Geld durch PayPal zurück zu erhalten.
