You know what’s funny about Hurghada? Everyone talks about the big resort strips, but some of the best places to stay are tucked away in these residential buildings where you’d never think to look. Abeer Suites 5 is exactly that kind of find – it’s on the second floor of a building on Arabia Street, and honestly, when I first walked up those stairs, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But that 9.7 rating isn’t some fluke, I can tell you that much.

The thing about this place is that it feels like staying at your Egyptian friend’s really nice apartment, if that makes sense. The owner clearly knows what travelers actually need – not fancy marble lobbies or whatever, but proper Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, air conditioning that works during those brutal afternoon hours, and a kitchen setup where you can actually make coffee the way you like it. I mean, the apartments are genuinely spacious, which is refreshing after dealing with those shoebox hotel rooms elsewhere in town. The living areas have this comfortable, lived-in feel, and the bedrooms are quiet enough that you won’t hear every scooter rattling down Arabia Street at dawn (though you will hear the call to prayer, which honestly becomes kind of soothing after a day or two).

What really sold me on the place was how the host handles things – there’s this personal attention you just don’t get at the bigger hotels. When I mentioned I was planning to hit the diving spots near Giftun Island, they actually drew me a little map showing which taxi drivers to trust and which ones will try to overcharge tourists. That kind of local knowledge is worth its weight in gold. The location works really well too, especially if you’re not tied to being right on the corniche. You’re close enough to walk to the marina area when you want that tourist bubble experience, but far enough away that you can grab dinner at those little local places where they don’t automatically bring you the English menu. There’s a decent supermarket maybe five minutes on foot if you want to stock up on water bottles and snacks – and trust me, you’ll want to do that rather than paying hotel minibar prices everywhere else.

The apartments themselves have this practical comfort that grows on you. Everything works properly (which sounds basic but isn’t always a given), the hot water is reliable, and there’s enough space to spread out your dive gear or shopping finds without living out of a suitcase. It’s honestly the kind of place where you could settle in for a week or two without feeling cramped. The balconies give you a slice of local life – watching the neighborhood kids play football in the street, hearing the evening conversations drifting up from the café downstairs. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards, and if you need a pool or room service, look elsewhere. But if you want a genuine, comfortable base for exploring Hurghada without the tourist markup, this is exactly the kind of place smart travelers hunt for and rarely find.

  Прилетели уставшие хозяин помог занести чемоданы в квартире идеальная чистота мебель постель посуда вся техника новая! Большие балконы. В 7 минутах ходьбы пляж Захабия с суперскими коралами в 10 минутах городской пляж с входом за 30 гривен. В 2 минутах ходьбы все магазины с продуктами . 3 минуты и два рыбных ресторана с вкусной едой один дороже второй маленький напротив совсем дешевый. В 5 минутах алкомаркет!!! В 20 минутах рыбный базар. Очень тихое место ночами никто не гудит торговцы не кричат не пристают. Место супер!!! Большое спасибо от Оли и Виктора хозяину.   شقة رائعة ونظيفة وموقعها متميز وسط المحلات والمقاهي وقريبة من الشاطئ العام وشواطئ ذهبيه وعرابيا وارابيلا تسطيع دفع رسوم بسيطه وتستمتع بالسباحة والبحر وطاقم العمل ممتاز والواي فاي خاص بالشقة وسريع جدا المطبخ والاثاث عموما جديد ومنسق ونظيف والتكييفات جديده ايضا
