The thing about Sahl Hasheesh is that it’s got this laid-back vibe that’s completely different from the chaos of downtown Hurghada – I mean, you’re still close enough to hit the main strip when you want some action, but far enough away that you can actually hear yourself think. The chalet setup is actually pretty clever; you get more space than your typical hotel room, and there’s something nice about having your own little corner instead of being stacked in a tower with everyone else. The staff here genuinely seem to care, which honestly isn’t always a given in this price range. Check-in was smooth, no weird surprises or hidden fees, and they actually remembered my name by day two (small thing, but it matters).

What really won me over was the attention to detail – nothing fancy, but everything works. The air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine, the WiFi actually reaches your room, and the bathroom has decent water pressure. I know, I know, these sound like basic things, but you’d be amazed how many places mess this stuff up. The location is pretty sweet too – you’re literally within walking distance of some gorgeous Red Sea coastline, and if you’re into snorkeling or diving, there are some decent spots nearby that the locals know about but don’t get completely mobbed by tour groups. Parking was never an issue, which is actually a relief if you’re planning to rent a car and explore around Hurghada.

The only minor gripe I’d have is that it can get a bit quiet in the evenings – if you’re looking for non-stop nightlife, you’ll want to venture out. But honestly, after a day in the Egyptian sun, I found myself appreciating the peaceful atmosphere. The whole place has this relaxed, almost residential feel that makes you want to slow down and actually enjoy your vacation instead of rushing from one attraction to the next. For the price point, you’re getting solid value – it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but it delivers on the basics and then some. If you’re the type who values a good night’s sleep, friendly service, and easy access to the Red Sea without breaking the bank, this place hits the sweet spot.

  I recently spent an incredible 4 days and 3 nights at Alsaraya Resort in Sahl Hashish, and I'm still smiling about the experience!The apartment's location was perfection – just 7 minutes from everything! The owner was amazingly friendly, supportive, and super responsive. The apartment itself? Absolutely stunning! Equipped with everything you could possibly need.
  
  What could be improved: The only hiccup was occasional water outages, but honestly, it didn't dampen our spirits.
