You know what caught me off guard about Aldau Heights? The view from the upper floors actually delivers – and I mean really delivers. When you’re standing on one of those balconies looking out over Hurghada, you get this perfect mix of Red Sea blue and desert backdrop that honestly makes you forget you’re staying at a 3-star place. The hotel sits up on higher ground (hence the name, I guess), which means you’re removed from the beach crowd chaos but still close enough to walk down when you want to.

The thing about this place is it feels like it knows exactly what it is. It’s not trying to compete with those massive resort complexes along the main strip – instead, it’s got this more intimate vibe that I actually preferred. The rooms are clean and functional, though the AC can be a bit temperamental during peak summer months (pro tip: mention it at check-in if you’re visiting in July or August). What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. You’re far enough from the main Sheraton Road action that you won’t hear scooters buzzing around at 2 AM, but close enough that a quick taxi ride gets you to the marina or old town without breaking the bank.

The staff here genuinely seems to care, which – let’s be honest – isn’t always a given at mid-range hotels in resort towns. Ahmed at the front desk knew everyone’s names by day two and had solid recommendations for local spots that weren’t just tourist traps. The breakfast spread is pretty standard Egyptian hotel fare, but they make a decent fool and the coffee is actually drinkable. I’d say the 7.4 rating is spot on – it’s not going to wow you with luxury touches, but it handles the basics really well and the location gives you that elevated perspective on Hurghada that makes for great sunset photos. If you’re the type who spends most of your time out exploring anyway and just needs a comfortable, clean base, Aldau Heights hits that sweet spot between budget and splurge.

  Very new modern and spacious flat, with access to swimming pool. Very clean and with basic kitchen utilities. They kindly let us do late checkout and leave our bags there.
  
  What could be improved: Check-in was not that smooth: this is a residence, so there's not a proper reception and the staff there is not aware of who comes at what time. There were not toiletries available. There is not internet.

  I absolutely loved the location of Aldau Heights. Local to the town, beach, taxis and buses are available all the time. The apartment was very specious and clean for our family. What I specially was the service from
  the staff. Our apartment did have an electric issue where it blow out everything (fridge, cooker, microwave etc) and Ashraf was on it from the beginning everyday he came to sort it out and was very apologetic and gave us our money back. I would 100 percent stay here again. Thank you Ashraf you are fantastic 😁

  I liked the view of the room on the Main Street and seeing the sea.

  What could be improved: I didn’t like the absence of the cleaning utensils to clean the bathroom & the floor every day .. I found something which was broken & not used it.
  There has to put some of soup/ shampoo/ welcome drink or fruits
