So AlDAU Heights caught my eye because, honestly, you don’t see that many genuinely new places in Hurghada that aren’t trying to be massive resort complexes. This one’s different – it’s basically brand new apartments that they’ve set up as hotel accommodations, and I mean actually modern, not just “renovated in 2015” modern that you see everywhere else.

The location is pretty clever, actually. It’s in the Al Fondok area, which puts you away from the absolute chaos of Sekalla (you know what I mean if you’ve been there during peak season), but you’re still close enough that a quick taxi ride gets you to the main strip when you want the action. What I really liked is that you can actually walk to some decent local spots without dodging tour buses every five minutes – there’s this little coffee place about two blocks away that locals go to, and honestly, their ahwa is better than anything you’ll get at the resort hotels. The building itself sits on a quieter street, so you’re not dealing with constant honking, though let’s be real, it’s still Hurghada, so there’s definitely some street noise during the day.

The apartments themselves feel like someone actually thought about how people live, not just how to cram beds into a space. I mean, you’ve got proper kitchenettes with decent-sized fridges – not those tiny hotel bar fridges that can barely fit a water bottle. The bathrooms are surprisingly spacious, and the shower pressure is actually good, which… well, if you’ve stayed in enough Egyptian hotels, you know that’s not always a given. The air conditioning works properly too, though it can get a bit loud at night if you’re sensitive to that sort of thing. What really sold me was the balcony situation – most units have decent-sized balconies, and if you’re lucky enough to get one of the higher floors, you can actually see a bit of the Red Sea between the buildings. It’s not a full sea view by any means, but it’s something.

The 7.6 rating makes sense to me – it’s not luxury, and the neighborhood doesn’t have that polished resort feel, but for what it is, it delivers. The staff at reception seem to actually know the area well, which is refreshing. When I asked about getting to some of the dive shops, the guy didn’t just point vaguely toward the marina – he knew which operators were reliable and how much the taxi should cost. Check-in was smooth, no drama with the key cards, and they had that new-building smell that somehow makes everything feel cleaner. I’d say it works really well if you want a proper base in Hurghada without paying resort prices, especially if you’re planning to explore rather than just park yourself by a pool. Just don’t expect room service or daily housekeeping – it’s more like a proper apartment rental that happens to have hotel-style booking.

  Many thanks to Mr Abanoub, the manager, and Miss Mariam, who was so polite and helpful.
  The location, the facilities in the apartment, and the comfy beds, are all excellent. The cutlery, dishes and pans, tea cups were all of good quality. Other appliances, such as the microwave, washing machine, fridge, stove, and kitchenette, were all high quality.
  
  What could be improved: The sofa bed sleeps only one person, instead of two.
  Also, the reception in the lobby, could have been better, just like in any hotel.
  The rugs in the apartment needed washing.
  The stove also needed some cleaning.

  We had trips booked in Hurghada all day and staying in a hotel was a waste of money so we booked these apts for a big family. Clean and well maintained apt. New furniture and appliances. loacation is central near everything. Has everything we needed iron, toaster, microwave, washing machine, stove, towels and fridge. Miryam was great and helped us settle down and responded to all our requests on the spot thank you. One of the apts was a studio but we paid for 1bdr so the renting company contacted Booking.com and they refunded the money difference within the promised time.

  The apartment is situated in an excellent location, boasting notable cleanliness and a balcony that offers a great view. The security measures implemented provide a strong sense of reassurance. The use of NFC tags for easy travel is a notable convenience. Nearby, a small shopping center features a coffee shop and restaurant, adding to the appeal. Within walking distance is a tourist street filled with numerous shops. For those seeking more than the beautiful on-site pool, there are beaches nearby offering additional leisure options.
