Sometimes the best surprises come from lowered expectations. This place is actually tucked away on that stretch of the Hurghada-El Gouna road where you start seeing more local flavor and fewer tourist buses – about 13 kilometers north in Al Ahia, which means you’re getting that authentic Red Sea vibe without the Hurghada crowds breathing down your neck.

The thing that really got me was how the staff genuinely seemed to care about making your stay work. I mean, check-in was smooth (they actually remembered my name the next day), and the apartment setup is pretty clever – you get your own space but can still access the hotel’s aqua park when you want to cool off. The water park isn’t massive, but honestly, it’s perfect for what it is. The slides are decent, the pools are clean, and during the afternoon heat when even the locals are hiding indoors, it becomes this little oasis. What really surprised me was the 9 rating – at first I thought it might be inflated, but after spending a few days there, I get it. It’s not luxury, but everything just… works. The Wi-Fi actually connects, the AC doesn’t sound like a dying camel, and the kitchenette in the apartment means you can grab fresh bread from the local bakery down the road and make your own breakfast instead of being stuck with hotel buffet eggs every morning.

The location is sort of perfect if you ask me – far enough from Hurghada’s chaos that you can actually hear the sea at night, but close enough that a quick taxi ride gets you to the marina or the old town when you want some action. Plus, being on the El Gouna road means you’re positioned perfectly for day trips up the coast. I spent one evening just walking along the beach here, and the sunset views are honestly spectacular – no crowds, just you and that endless Red Sea horizon. The only minor thing is that you’ll want to rent a car or budget for taxis if you plan to explore much, but that’s pretty standard for this area anyway. What really sold me on this place was the genuine hospitality – it feels like staying with people who actually want you to have a good time in Egypt, not just process you through like another booking number.

  What could be improved: -Beach is stony
  -It was not clear that the aquapark is not included. When we tried to pay for it, the hotel said that we should pay all inclusive all the week
  -It was almost impossible to pay a coffe
  -the aprtment needs some fixings, but in general acceptable.
