I mean, you’re still technically in the same city, but the vibe here is so much more relaxed. The first thing that hit me was how quiet it gets, especially in the evenings when you can actually hear the waves from the Red Sea instead of car horns and street vendors.

The private garden aspect isn’t just marketing fluff – you actually get this little slice of greenery that becomes your own retreat. I found myself having morning coffee out there more often than I expected, watching these tiny geckos dart around the plants. The apartment itself is what I’d call “lived-in comfortable” rather than sterile hotel perfect, which honestly works better for longer stays. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to hit up the local markets (there’s a decent one about ten minutes away where the vendors actually remember you after a few visits). What really surprised me was the attention to detail – proper blackout curtains for afternoon naps, reliable Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every hour, and the air conditioning actually cools the whole space, not just one corner.

You know what makes this place special though? It’s the location within Sahl Hasheesh itself. You’re close enough to walk to some really solid restaurants – there’s this Egyptian place where the owner’s wife makes the best koshari I’ve had outside Cairo – but far enough from the main tourist strips that you don’t feel like you’re living in a resort bubble. The beach access is genuinely good here, and the snorkeling right off the shore beats paying for boat trips if you’re just looking to see some colorful fish and coral. Parking is never an issue, which sounds boring but trust me, after dealing with Hurghada’s main areas, you’ll appreciate it. The whole setup works especially well if you’re planning to stay more than just a few nights – it gives you that home base feeling where you can actually settle in and explore the area properly rather than just ticking off tourist boxes. That 9.6 rating makes sense once you spend some time here; it’s not flashy or Instagram-perfect, but it delivers on the stuff that actually matters when you’re trying to experience a place rather than just visit it.

  L'appartement est spacieux, il bénéficie d'un grand espace extérieur dont une partie couverte, permettant de déjeuner dehors, un vrai plus. Grande cuisine bien équipée.
  Très bon emplacement, une vue mer … exceptionnelle, du rangement dans les chambres, nous avons passé un très bon séjour.
  La communication avec le propriétaire est impeccable, un grand merci.
