You know what caught me off guard about Apartment Hossam 3? It’s one of those places that looks pretty modest from Elhadaba Road – honestly, I almost walked past it the first time – but once you’re inside, it actually feels way more spacious and comfortable than you’d expect from a 3-star spot in Hurghada.

The thing about staying here is that you’re right in the thick of things without dealing with the tourist madness that hits some of the beachfront properties. Elhadaba Road itself is busy (and I mean busy – there’s definitely street noise, especially during evening hours when everyone’s heading out), but it’s the kind of busy that means you can grab a taxi or microbus anywhere without waiting around. The apartment setup is pretty clever too – you get that independence of cooking your own meals, which honestly saves you a fortune when you’re staying more than a few days. The kitchen’s basic but functional, and there’s actually decent counter space, something I’ve learned not to take for granted in Egyptian rentals. What really works about this place is how Hossam (yeah, you’ll probably meet him – he’s usually around and speaks solid English) has figured out what travelers actually need versus what looks good in photos. The Wi-Fi is reliable – I was working remotely for part of my stay and never had issues. The air conditioning works properly, which in Hurghada’s heat is non-negotiable. And the beds are comfortable enough that I wasn’t waking up with a sore back, something that’s hit-or-miss with apartment stays.

The location puts you maybe a 10-minute walk from the marina area if you cut through the side streets, and you’re close enough to both the touristy restaurant strip and the more local spots where you can get actual Egyptian food without paying resort prices. I mean, there’s a little kushari place two blocks over that became my regular lunch spot – probably saved me 200 Egyptian pounds a day compared to eating at the hotel restaurants down by the water. The 8.8 rating makes sense when you consider what you’re getting for the price point. It’s not luxury, but it’s clean, functional, and run by people who seem to actually care about whether you have a decent stay. Plus, having apartment-style space means you can spread out your stuff, do laundry, and generally live like a human being instead of camping out of a suitcase in a tiny hotel room.

  the location is good, the view is amazing, private, the apartment has everything that needed, new furniture, clean toilets and much more facilities that the other hosts doesn't normally offer ( for free) Benjamin is a very nice host, he even asked us to stay one more day for free, he doesn't care about the money as he cares about his guests.
