You know what struck me first about the Arabella Azur Resort? It’s actually got this perfect spot on El Corniche Road where you can watch the whole Sekala district come alive in the morning. I mean, most people think of Hurghada as just diving and beaches, but staying here gives you this front-row seat to how the locals actually live – there’s this little bakery across the street that starts up around 5 AM (the smell of fresh bread drifting through your window is honestly better than any alarm clock).

The resort itself is what I’d call pleasantly unpretentious. It’s a solid 3-star that knows exactly what it is and doesn’t try to be something fancy. The rooms are clean and comfortable – not Instagram-worthy, but you’ll sleep well and the AC actually works, which is crucial when you’re dealing with Red Sea heat. What really won me over was the staff’s genuine helpfulness. The front desk guy, Ahmed, knew every dive shop in Sekala and could tell you which ones were running trips to the better sites that day. He also steered me away from the tourist-trap restaurants and pointed me toward this incredible little seafood place about ten minutes down the Corniche where the hammour is so fresh it’s practically still swimming.

The pool area gets busy around midday (typical resort schedule), but if you’re an early riser like me, you’ll have it mostly to yourself until about 9 AM. The Wi-Fi is decent enough for checking emails or posting photos, though don’t expect to stream movies. Honestly, that’s probably a good thing – you’re in Hurghada, go explore. The location makes it ridiculously easy to walk to the marina area where all the boat trips launch from, and you’re close enough to the old town that you can actually experience some authentic Egyptian culture instead of just the resort bubble. Parking isn’t an issue if you rent a car, and the check-in process was surprisingly smooth – no waiting around in lobbies wondering if your reservation actually exists. The 8.8 rating makes sense to me; it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but it delivers exactly what most travelers actually need: a clean, comfortable base with people who know the area and genuinely want to help you have a good time.

  Everything's amazing, the cosy vibes, the room interior, the level of cleanliness, the super friendly and helpful staff. It is an absolute calming yet enjoyable stay. This will always be my go-to stay in Hurghada.

  I can with saying everything was so so good more than good especially the food it was amazing there is a choice for everyone vegan ,vegetarian and normal people who love meat which is my family we did enjoyed full respect to the kitchen manger chef Ashraf Salah for controlling everything by himself while the meals are going on .He did ask almost the whole guest in the restaurant about the food . Thanks for him .the front desk so professional ,everything was perfect, I promise I will come back soon .thanks

  The staff are friendly and willing to help , the place was clean and the location is 7 minutes drive to the marina and the markets . There is also a nice coral reef spot on the beach with beautiful corals and different fish . It's family-friendly and we had no complaints . Also, the staff were very helpful as we asked for a late check out . They did their best to give us a room that is not booked after us , so we dont have to change the room even , this was very convenient for us .

  Very cosy! I've been in modern hotels, which are nice but impersonal, they have no atmosphere, one is like the other. In contrast, Arabella has a phantasmagorical atmosphere. The abundance of solid wood furniture and built-in elements, the coloured glass, the many little mood lights throughout the building, the million arches… A real Arabian atmosphere!

  The facilities were well maintained. The stuff and workers were friendly and helpful, special credit to the guest relationship officer (Should be Maria if I got her name right). She attended my special request for my friend's birthday, the arrangement was awesome! We had really a good time there, enjoyed so so much! Love from Malaysia! Hope to have chance to chill there again!
