Hotel Description

You know what surprised me most about Arabia Azur Resort? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be something it’s not, and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it work. Right there on El Cornich Road – which, if you’ve never been to Hurghada, is basically the main strip where all the action happens – this 3-star spot punches way above its weight. I mean, an 8.5 rating doesn’t just happen by accident.

The thing about staying right on the Corniche is you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from everything that matters. The marina’s close enough that you can smell the sea salt in the morning (and hear the boats heading out for diving trips around 7 AM, fair warning if you’re a light sleeper). But here’s what the travel sites don’t tell you – the resort actually sits back just enough from the main road that you don’t get the constant buzz of taxis and tour buses that plague some of the other places. The staff clearly knows their stuff too; check-in was smooth even though we arrived during that chaotic evening rush when half the Red Sea flights seem to land at once.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to create this relaxed vibe without feeling cheap or run-down. The pool area actually stays pleasant throughout the day – they’ve got enough shade that you’re not scrambling for umbrellas by 11 AM like at some places. And the poolside service? Well, let’s just say Ahmed (ask for him if you go) makes a mean fresh mango juice and somehow always remembers whether you want ice or not. The rooms aren’t going to win any design awards, but they’re clean, the AC works (crucial in Hurghada’s heat), and you’ve got enough space to actually unpack your suitcase instead of living out of it for a week. Pro tip though – try to get a room facing away from the generator area; it’s not terrible, but you’ll sleep better.

Honestly, this is the kind of place that works because it gets the fundamentals right rather than trying to dazzle you with fancy touches that don’t matter. The restaurant serves decent Egyptian breakfast – their ful medames is actually pretty authentic, not the watered-down tourist version – and if you want to venture out, you’re walking distance from some genuinely good local spots. There’s this little place called Abu Ashraf about ten minutes down the Corniche that does incredible grilled fish, and the resort staff will point you toward stuff like that instead of just pushing the overpriced hotel dining. That tells you something about a place, you know? It’s not trying to trap you; it wants you to actually enjoy Hurghada.

  The location of Arabia Azur Resort is truly excellent — the beach is beautiful and the views are stunning. It's a lovely place to relax and enjoy the sea.
  
  What could be improved: However, there were two major downsides to our stay. First, the food was very repetitive and the taste was quite poor overall. It lacked variety and flavor. Second, there was no free Wi-Fi in the room, which was quite disappointing for a resort of this level.

  One of my favorite hotels in the world! You can tell the resort is not new, but everything is well maintained and properly designed ;ALL staffs are professional and very nice, a good team as a whole; waterfront/beach/lagoon is very nice, water is clean and perfect for swimming & snorkeling; it has a big pool too, plenty of activities happening there, and lots of seats to relax and chill all day; the food is also good. I enjoy my whole week there! This will be THE hotel for me at Hurghada.

  I am completely satisfied with my staying in Arabia Azur!
  Everything was just perfect: the room, the food, the staff. The very location of the hotel not too far away from the airport, but not too close. Marina – 10 minutes of walking.
  My room was at the ground floor, so I literally could open a balcony door, make few steps and to be on the beach.
  I would definitely choose this hotel if I ever would go to Hurghada

  The room is very spacious and well designed. All facilities in the room are quite clean and tidy. The resort offers great private beach and access to the sea. The view was amazing.
  
  What could be improved: The food quality (buffet) doesn’t match the other facilities/views the resort offers. The food selections are quite limited and overall not very tasty.
