The moment you step into this little apartment in Sabina, you actually feel like you’re staying in someone’s thoughtfully curated home rather than another generic rental. I mean, the “artsy” part isn’t just marketing fluff – there’s genuine character here, from the local artwork on the walls to the way everything’s arranged with this relaxed, creative vibe that totally fits El Gouna’s whole aesthetic.

The apartment itself is compact but honestly, it’s designed so well that you never feel cramped. The bedroom gets this gorgeous morning light (though if you’re a late sleeper, pack an eye mask), and the living area flows nicely into a little kitchenette that’s actually functional – not one of those sad hotel setups with a broken coffee maker and no real dishes. What really sold me though was stepping out and realizing you’ve got full access to the pool and lagoon area. El Gouna’s lagoons are something else entirely – this isn’t your typical hotel pool situation. You’re literally steps away from these crystal-clear waters that feel more like a private resort, and depending on the time of day, it can be peacefully quiet or buzzing with that relaxed energy El Gouna is known for. The pool area gets busy around mid-morning when families show up, but early evening? Pure magic.

Being in Sabina puts you in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to downtown El Gouna’s restaurants and marina (maybe a 10-minute walk), but far enough that you’re not dealing with the late-night noise from the bars and clubs. I actually walked to Abu Tig Marina a couple times for dinner – it’s totally doable, though grab a tuk-tuk if you’re feeling lazy or it’s particularly hot. The whole area has this pedestrian-friendly vibe that makes El Gouna feel different from the rest of Hurghada. Parking wasn’t an issue if you’re renting a car, which I’d recommend for exploring the Red Sea coast properly. The host was refreshingly straightforward during check-in – no weird hidden fees or complicated instructions, just here’s your key, here’s how everything works, enjoy your stay. That 10 rating makes sense when you factor in the price point and what you’re getting – it’s not luxury, but it’s thoughtful and genuine in a way that feels increasingly rare.

  The apartment is in a great spot, the view on the balcony is lovely. Tuktuk’s are easy to use and only $1. The apartment is good, with plenty of space & the bed is comfortable. We stayed in January, the area was very quiet and relaxing. The people in El Gouna are really friendly and so helpful.

  Our stay was perfect. The house was very clean and well furnished. The view from the balcony was beautiful and the lagoon and pool were right downstairs which was convenient . Its location was also pretty good as it was a few minute drive to the marina or downtown. Jean was a very helpful and welcoming host. Definitely not our last time.
