Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of places in El Gouna over the years, but Ascot Bay honestly caught me off guard – and I mean that in the best way possible. When you first pull up on Club Road (which, by the way, is way quieter than the main marina strip), you’re looking at what feels more like a private villa than your typical beach house rental. The whole lagoon setup here is something else – you’ve got this crystal-clear water literally at your doorstep, and I’m talking about the kind of turquoise that makes you forget you’re in Egypt for a hot minute.

The five bedrooms are actually generous, not those cramped boxes you sometimes get with these vacation rentals, and the pool area is where you’ll probably spend most of your time anyway. What really got me was how they’ve set up the outdoor space – there’s this flow between the pool deck and the lagoon access that just works. You know what’s smart? They’ve positioned everything so you get morning sun on the breakfast terrace but shade by the pool when it gets brutal in the afternoon. The kitchen is properly equipped too, which matters if you’re planning to cook – and honestly, with the local fish market just a short walk toward downtown El Gouna, you’d be crazy not to at least try grilling something fresh.

Here’s the thing about this particular spot in Tawila – it’s removed enough from the main hotel zone that you don’t get the constant buzz of tour groups and animation teams (thank god), but you’re still only about ten minutes by tuk-tuk to get to Abu Tig Marina when you want proper restaurants or nightlife. The beach access is direct, no walking through lobbies or dealing with crowded resort areas, and the water here is consistently calm since you’re protected by the outer islands. I stayed during peak season in March and never felt like we were fighting for space. The only minor thing – and this is pretty typical for El Gouna – is that the Wi-Fi gets a bit spotty in the evenings when everyone’s online, but honestly, isn’t that kind of the point of being here? The whole place just has this laid-back luxury vibe that’s hard to find these days, especially somewhere that actually delivers on the photos. For families or groups who want their own space but still want to be part of the El Gouna scene, this is pretty much exactly what you’re looking for.

  Nice villa, well equipped in a beautiful El Gouna! Can recommend it.
  
  What could be improved: The only thing was that I received the wrong code to the key locker in my confirmation email. And it's the last thing you want to happen after all day travelling. Thanks to our bus driver, we managed to contact personnel, and we received proper code.

  I had an amazing stay at the villa! The highlight was definitely the private pool, which was clean and well-maintained. The villa itself was spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all modern amenities. The serene environment and stunning views made it a perfect getaway. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring our stay was comfortable. Highly recommend for a luxurious and relaxing vacation

  the location was amazing and the the design of the villa was wonderful.
  
  What could be improved: the stuff was the worst and uncooperative ants and lots of bugs especially in the pool that without water filter.
  The beds wasn’t comfortable and the windows don’t have black out so the sun goes into the bed rooms from 5a.m everyday and that made us more tired and uncomfortable.
  I asked for a baby cot and the stuff said they have it and when I arrived they said no we don’t have it.
  they forgot to send me the QR code and I waited for a long time at the gates because no one of the stuff carried enough to send it or answer my calls.
  when I request to change beds sheets they bring it to me in bags to change it by myself
  the beach was awful the sand was very bad and the kids couldn’t play on it at all.
  Anyway l don’t recommend it and doesn’t deserve your money.

  Beautiful property made our holiday amazing everything was perfect, customer support was also great if we needed extra towels they came through even had daily cleaning for pool.

  What could be improved: the place was not clean, and it was full of ants. when we asked for a solution they got us Raid, which was not possible to spray as we had a new born with us and it was going to be unpleasant.
