Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from Askyhomes when I first pulled up to this place in Hurghada – I mean, the name doesn’t exactly scream “luxury hotel,” you know? But man, was I wrong. This five-star spot actually delivers on pretty much everything it promises, and that 8.9 rating makes complete sense once you’ve spent a few days here.

The thing that struck me first was how they’ve managed to create this sort of oasis feeling without going overboard with the whole “Egyptian theme park” vibe that some hotels here fall into. The lobby’s got this clean, modern feel with just enough local touches to remind you where you are, and check-in was surprisingly smooth – none of that “we need to hold your passport for three days” nonsense I’ve dealt with at other places. The staff actually seems to know what they’re doing, which honestly can be hit or miss in this part of Hurghada. I stayed on the sixth floor and the views toward Cairo’s direction are pretty spectacular, especially at sunset when the desert light does that golden thing.

What really sets this place apart though is the attention to practical details that most travelers actually care about. The WiFi works properly throughout the building (I was video calling from the pool area without issues), the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine, and – this might sound weird but it matters – the water pressure in the shower is actually decent. The pool area gets busy around 10 AM when families start showing up, but if you’re an early bird like me, you can have the whole place to yourself with your coffee around 7. The restaurant situation is solid too, though I’d recommend hitting up some of the local spots in town for dinner at least once – there’s this little seafood place about ten minutes away that the concierge told me about, and it was honestly better than anything I had at the hotel. Speaking of location, you’re close enough to the main tourist strips that you can walk to shops and restaurants, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with constant noise from the street vendors and tour buses. Parking was never an issue, which can’t be said for a lot of places around here.

The only minor complaint I’d have is that the pool gets a bit chaotic in the afternoons – lots of kids running around, which is fine if that’s your scene, but if you’re looking for a quiet swim, mornings or evenings are your best bet. Also, while the breakfast spread is impressive, it can get pretty crowded between 8 and 9 AM, so either go early or wait until closer to 10 if you want to actually find a decent table. But honestly, these are pretty minor issues for a place that gets so much right. For the money, especially considering this is a legitimate five-star property in Hurghada, Askyhomes delivers exactly what most travelers are actually looking for – comfort, cleanliness, and a genuine sense that someone cares about your experience.

  The apartment is exactly the same as in photos.
  The manager, Karim, is so friendly. He welcomed us at 4am in the morning and escorted to a market for a quick shopping.

  Very good and fast support from the host, which was always available to solve any issue at any time. I have no complains at all, it was a nice day. Kudos to Armin!
  
  What could be improved: We had some problems like electricity outages and one day when we tried to cook something, the gas ran out while we were cooking. We had all the needed assistance all the time, so I can't complain with anything.

  Karim est super, très gentil serviable et toujours disponible. L'appartement est immense très confortable, une énorme terrasse sans vis à vis avec vue sur la mer. L'emplacement est dans une petite rue très calme, à 200 m de l'avenue Sheraton donc de tout. Il y a une petite épicerie à 10 m avec une propriétaire très gentille, un pressing à 100 m enfin tout pour passer un bon séjour.

  房子位置旺中带静，室内空间够大，阳台能看到海景，不用每天到沙滩付费看海了。管家热心，每次回复快速反应。虽然没有任何一个民宿是百分百完美的，但实惠价格入住，已经相当不错了。

  What could be improved: Le seul problème dû au fait que l'appartement est un roof top; est que l'eau avait du mal à arriver jusqu'au 5eme étage mais comparé à tous les avantages ce n'était rien.

  Nagyon tetszett a nagy nappali, kényelmes ülőgarnitúra, a nagy terasz, a kilátás. Az ágyak kényelmesek. A házigazda nagyon segítőkész volt, bármilyen probléma esetén rövid időn belül reagált és segített. Az érkezés és a távozás gördülékenyen ment. Az apartman közel van a Sheraton-hoz mégis nagyon csendes. A ház amelyben az apartman van szép tiszta, rendben tartott. Mosógép nagyon jó hogy volt. A fényképek a valóságnak megfeleltek.
  
  What could be improved: A konyha tisztasága nem volt megfelelő, pár edény,tányér stb még jól jött volna,
  A szép nagy terasz hangulatát feldobná egy-két napozóágy vagy több szék, hogy jobban ki lehessen használni. Nagyobb társaságnál két lakáskulcs nagy segítség lenne.
