So here’s the thing about Bali Studio – it’s one of those places that actually gets El Gouna right, you know? I mean, when you’re staying in this whole engineered resort town along the Red Sea, you want something that feels authentic but doesn’t break the bank, and this little 3-star spot honestly delivers on that front.

The location on طريق الجونة 1 puts you right in the thick of things without the crazy tourist markup you get closer to the marina. I actually walked past it twice before realizing this was the place – it’s got this understated entrance that doesn’t scream “hotel,” which I kind of loved. The studios themselves are pretty spacious (way more room than I expected for the price), and honestly, the kitchenette situation is a game-changer if you’re planning to stay more than a couple nights. There’s something refreshing about being able to make your own coffee in the morning instead of hunting down an overpriced café. The AC works well too, which – trust me – you’ll appreciate when those afternoon temperatures hit in summer.

What really won me over was how the staff actually seemed to know El Gouna beyond just the obvious tourist spots. The guy at reception (Ahmed, I think?) gave me directions to this local spot for groceries that saved me probably 30% compared to the resort shops, and he knew the bus schedules to Hurghada better than Google Maps did. The 7.1 rating makes sense – it’s not luxury by any stretch, and yeah, the WiFi can be spotty in the evenings when everyone’s online, but there’s something genuine about the place that you don’t always find in the flashier resorts. The pool area gets decent sun most of the day, and it’s usually quiet enough that you can actually relax without kids screaming or loud music.

I’ll be real with you – if you’re expecting marble bathrooms and turndown service, look elsewhere. But if you want a clean, comfortable base for exploring the Red Sea without paying resort prices, and you appreciate when locals treat you like a person instead of a walking wallet, Bali Studio hits that sweet spot. Plus, you’re close enough to walk to the decent restaurants in El Gouna, but far enough from the main strip that you won’t have drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 2 AM. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

  Absolutely Perfect Stay!
  I recently had the pleasure of staying in bali and it was truly clean and well maintained, providing a serene and comfortable and relaxing environment made us feels like a home away from home and helpful staff, along with the relaxing atmosphere, made us feel at ease and truly welcomed.
  I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone seeking a wonderful getaway in El Gouna.

  What could be improved: As a female alone, I couldn’t open the door. It got stuck. Even when I called over the men from the front gate, they had a very hard time. So once I got it, I kept the door cracked so I wouldn’t be stuck inside. This also didn’t make it easy to go anywhere as I needed to keep the door open or someone’s help
