First Impressions

Pulling up to BeachView Turtles, the first thing you notice is how relaxed everything feels — not in a neglected way, but in that easy, unhurried way that good beach spots tend to have. It sits out along the Ras Gharib Road in the Al Ahyaa area of Hurghada, not far from the Alwaleed Ben Talaal palace, which gives you a sense of just how far you are from the bustle of the main strip. Honestly, that distance is a feature, not a drawback. You’re here for the sea, and the sea is right there.

Location & Neighborhood

Al Ahyaa is one of those parts of Hurghada that still feels a bit like the Red Sea coast used to — quieter, more spread out, less commercialised. Couples especially seem to click with this spot, and it’s easy to see why — the location rating from two-person trips sits at 8.5, which tells you something real. There’s a certain privacy to it that you don’t always get closer to the centre of town. You’re not walking distance from a shopping mall, but you probably didn’t come to Hurghada for that anyway.

The Property

For a three-star hotel, BeachView Turtles punches reasonably well above its weight in terms of atmosphere. The beach access is the obvious draw, and the resort setting means there’s actual space around you — not that cramped, back-to-back sunbed situation you sometimes dread. Free parking is available on site, which sounds like a small thing until you’ve spent time in Egyptian resort towns and realised it genuinely isn’t. The overall guest rating sits at 8.4, which for a three-star is a solid, trustworthy number — not inflated, just consistently decent.

The Feel Day-to-Day

I mean, this isn’t a place where you’re going to be blown away by grand architecture or a rooftop bar scene. What it does well is the simple stuff — a beach that’s actually accessible, a setting that encourages you to slow down, and a vibe that suits people who want to genuinely switch off. The kind of place where you find yourself reading a whole book in two days without feeling guilty about it. Mornings here have a particular quality, especially if you get down to the water early before it gets too warm.

Why Guests Love It

The 8.4 rating isn’t an accident — it reflects a property that knows what it is and delivers on that without overcomplicating things. Couples keep coming back to this corner of Hurghada because it offers something that’s sort of hard to put a price on: a bit of peace, a proper beach, and enough distance from the tourist noise to actually feel like you’ve escaped somewhere. The free parking is a practical bonus if you’re renting a car to explore the area, which is worth doing. BeachView Turtles won’t be for everyone, but if a relaxed Red Sea stay with a genuine beach feel is what you’re after, it’s a very reasonable bet.

  lovely clean comfortable apartment. Amazing view from balcony. the hoist let me check in early. will be booking again. will definitely recommend this place

  Lovely little apartment with everything you need. The complex has a private beach and two swimming pools for us. You do have to pay a cash deposit but we had no issues getting it back at the end of our stay.

  It was ok price for two nights we paid $109
  Including the cleaning fee $20
  The compound has its own 🏖️ and small cafe with very good food and coffee and local beer

  What could be improved: The water was cold in the show , so make sure to turn on the water heater
  It was very smelly in the room (I’m not sure what the smell was coming from ) we had to sleep with the balcony door open

  The customer service was excellent, very great and welcoming staffs especially Mrs ENGY. Great and fast response, a very nice location, quiet and the sea view was amazing. I and my family loved every minute we spent and hopefully we will visit again very soon.

  The place is very quiet .with private beach
  The bed is confortable .the management team is very helpful and decent .
  In few months 1 pool is supposed to be heated so it will be much better. And even all the unit will be renovated as it has been explained to me ..

  For deposit i understand that guests might damage things in the studio..but i believe 50usd or equivalent is enough as deposit.even better if the amount is hold by bank not given as cash .but anyway team was very nice with me regarding this as i told them i don t carry enough dollars

  this accommodation is it very nice and clean inside. and the beach is it ok
  
  What could be improved: in the advertisement they ask for 16 US Dollars but in the end they charge me 53.40 dollars.

  but after call the booking.com they told me that the accommodation charged extra fee for tax, service and cleaning.
  
  do not make any sense, I left the flat clean as I found it I do not used any kind of services and in the advertisement said that tax was already included, so I do not understand why they charged me 3 times the value of the advertisement.
  
  this is it a very frustrating situation, the administration of the resort cheating on us charging and hiding services form the advertisement that I do not used.

  The Staff are very helpful and hospitable . Bishoy, khaled at the pool bar and Engy are all great. The studio was very clean and all facilities available. The beach was great too. Everything was great.
  
  What could be improved: Many restaurants like mcdonald’s or pizza hut are out of delivery range. They need a bigger onsite restaurant ( which I heard is under construction). Otherwise everything else is great. Really good value for money.
