The apartment itself is refreshingly honest – it’s a solid 3-star setup that doesn’t try to be something it’s not, but that terrace situation is where things get interesting. Most places in El Gouna will charge you an arm and a leg for pool access, but here you’ve got this direct terrace view that makes you feel like you’ve got your own private slice of the action. I spent most mornings out there with coffee, watching the maintenance guys skim the pool at dawn (they’re surprisingly thorough, actually). The Red Sea’s right there too – you can walk to decent snorkeling spots in about ten minutes, though honestly the pool was perfect for those blazing afternoon hours when even the locals hide indoors.
