You know what struck me first about the Bel Air Azur Resort? The way it sits right on El Corniche Road – and I mean, you’re literally steps from that gorgeous Red Sea coastline that makes Hurghada worth the trip. It’s one of those adults-only places that actually gets the vibe right, if you know what I mean. No kids splashing around at 7 AM, just the sound of waves and maybe some quiet conversation over coffee.

The thing about this place is it punches way above its 3-star rating – honestly, I’ve stayed at 4-star hotels that felt more generic. Sure, it’s not dripping in marble or anything fancy like that, but there’s something refreshingly authentic about it. The staff actually remembers your name after the second day, and they’ll tell you which local dive spots are worth it versus the tourist traps down the road. I mean, being right in Sekala puts you in this sweet spot where you can walk to the marina if you want the scene, or just chill by their pool when the afternoon heat gets intense (and trust me, it does).

What really sold me was the little details – like how they set up the terrace so you catch those Red Sea breezes in the evening, or the way the rooms face away from the main road so you don’t get that constant traffic noise that plagues some of the bigger resorts. The 8.6 rating makes total sense when you actually stay there; it’s not trying to be something it’s not, just doing the essentials really well. The dive center connections alone are worth it if you’re into that – they hook you up with the good operators, not just whoever pays them the biggest commission. And honestly? Sometimes you want a place that feels more like a well-run guesthouse than a massive resort complex where you need a map to find your room.

  Exceptional stay everything was beyond my expectations, Very nice location, Staff were friendly, Rooms were clean, Reception staff were exceptional, house keeping were great, Food was very delicious with a lot of variety, Breakfast was amazing, Lunch was very good, Dinner was Exceptional. Sea is Perfect and the Lagoon was Exceptional with a fabulous scene, pool was good, Animation Team was amazing with a lot of entertainment program, very good value for money, snacks, ice cream and pizza was delicious. Special thanks to Reception and house keeping. Recommended for anyone and will visit again and again. So happy for my stay. Thank you.

  The location was perfect, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to assist with anything we needed. The food was surprisingly good with more variety than expected, which catered well to both me and my spouse. The sea water was crystal clear and clean, truly amazing for swimming, even for beginners. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
