Hotel Description

Look, I’ve stayed at quite a few places along the Red Sea coast, and honestly? Bellagio Beach Resort & Spa actually gets it right in ways that matter. When you’re driving down Al Haya Road – about 12 kilometers from Hurghada’s main tourist strip – you’ll spot it pretty easily. The thing is, being slightly removed from all that downtown chaos is actually perfect because you get the resort experience without taxi drivers honking outside your window at 6 AM.

The first thing that hit me walking into the lobby was how they managed to feel luxurious without being stuffy, you know? I mean, it’s definitely a five-star setup, but the staff doesn’t make you feel like you need to whisper or worry about your flip-flops on the marble. Check-in was smooth – they had my room ready even though I arrived around noon, which honestly surprised me since most places make you wait until 3. The grounds are bigger than they look from the road, and there’s this sort of natural flow between the pools and beach areas that doesn’t feel forced or overly manicured.

What really sets this place apart though is the attention to details that frequent travelers notice but rarely see executed well. The beach loungers are actually comfortable (not those plastic torture devices), and there’s always someone around to set up umbrellas without you having to hunt them down. The spa – well, I’m not usually a spa person, but their hammam treatment was incredible, especially after a day of diving or snorkeling. The water pressure in the showers is solid, the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a freight train, and the Wi-Fi actually works poolside, which is rarer than you’d think in this part of Egypt. Parking is plentiful and free, which matters if you’re planning to rent a car and explore beyond Hurghada proper.

I stayed during shoulder season in October, so it wasn’t packed with European families yet, but I could tell the layout would handle crowds better than most places. The restaurant situation is what you’d expect – decent international buffet, pretty good Egyptian dishes when they’re featured, and the pool bar makes a solid mojito. Honestly, the 9.3 rating makes sense when you add it all up. It’s not trying to be the flashiest resort on the coast, but everything just works the way it should, and after dealing with places where half the amenities are “temporarily unavailable” or the beach is actually a rocky patch with three sad umbrellas, that consistency means everything.

  The food was fantastic, breakfast, lunch and dinner was always tasty, i stayed for 7 nights and i found the food to be consistent each day, there was also a wide range of foods to chose from.
  
  The house keeping staff were truly amazing, especially Mahmoud! He Always made sure our room was spotless and always had a smile on his face!
  
  Khaled at the Rose restaurant was a great host!
  
  The Spa facilities were decent and the swimming pools and slides were all of a good size and always kept clean. Our room had a view of the pool and of the ocean which was very nice, the room was very spacious and modern.
  
  Omar the guests relation manager was always very helpful! he accommodated several short notice requests.
  
  What could be improved: One thing which the hotel could improve on is the check in process, the checkin staff are not the most friendly and did not explain any of the hotel rules or any benefits we are entitled to.

  I was feeling unwell and the staff took very good care of me! Omar was very helpful and quick to respond to any issues I had. This personal service is missing in the world of technology. But here I felt at home and that the staff genuinely cares about my comfort.
