Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Binishty Hurghada apartment in the Arabia area, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes the unassuming spots completely surprise you, and this is definitely one of those cases.

The thing about this part of Hurghada is that you’re actually staying where real life happens, not in some sterile resort bubble. The Arabia district has this lived-in feel – you’ll hear the call to prayer echoing in the early morning (which I actually found pretty peaceful), and there’s always something going on in the streets below. The apartment itself sits in a residential building that looks pretty standard from the outside, but once you’re inside, it’s clear someone put real thought into making guests comfortable. The owner – and I mean this in the best way – seems to actually care about the details that matter. Fresh linens that smell like they were line-dried, a kitchen that’s properly stocked (not just for show), and honestly, the Wi-Fi was better than my last hotel in Cairo.

What really won me over, though, was how practical everything felt for actually living there for a few days. The balcony overlooks the neighborhood, so you get these glimpses of daily Egyptian life – kids playing football in the courtyard below, neighbors chatting across balconies, the bread vendor making his rounds with that distinctive horn. It’s not a postcard view of the Red Sea, but honestly? It felt more authentic than staring at the same stretch of beach every other tourist sees. The location works really well if you want to explore beyond the typical resort strip – you’re close enough to walk to the marina area when you want that tourist experience, but far enough away that you’re not paying resort prices for everything. There’s a little café two blocks down that serves proper ful medames for breakfast (the owner will point you toward it), and the local market is actually walkable, which isn’t always the case in Hurghada.

The apartment runs quiet at night, which surprised me given how lively the area can be during the day. I think the building’s set back enough from the main road that you don’t get the traffic noise, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. Check-in was straightforward – no fuss, no unnecessary upselling, just someone who knew the area well enough to give actual recommendations instead of the usual tourist traps. That 9.3 rating honestly makes sense once you spend a night or two there. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, but what it does offer – a comfortable, well-maintained place to stay while you explore a more authentic side of Hurghada – it does really well.

  Everything ok in this studio, clean, quiet, kitchen and appliacences working good. Located in strategic position both to Hurghada Marina and downtown. Nice beaches also in front of the residence if you don't want to take taxi or local transports.

  Enjoyed the whole experience. The host was very attentive to all of our needs from start to finish whatever we needed it was available. It was a really clean and comfortable apartment. All of the facilities you would have at home are available close to the beach and supermarkets. I really enjoyed our stay. Fabulous time can't wait to come again. Recommendation to everybody who is thinking about booking the apartment

  Le logement cité n'était plus disponible à notre arrivée mais Mina a su être très réactif et nous a logé dans un appartement avec vue mer.
  Le logement était spacieux, au calme, propre, tout était prévu pour cuisiner.
  A proximité immédiate de la plage publique.

  El anfitrión más amable y atento que hemos encontrado a lo largo de nuestro viaje por el oriente de 30 días. Nos ayudó en todo momento con todas las dudas. Además el alojamiento está muy aseado y muy bonito.
  La gente que trabaja en recepción muy amable también. Volvería sin dudarlo.
  
  What could be improved: Esta muy bonita la instalación del edificio pero es una pena que no cuiden sus zonas públicas del edificio, como pasillos y escaleras que no está tan limpio a cómo estamos puestos en España.
