You know what caught me off guard about Boka Bay One? It’s tucked away in this quiet spot behind El Gouna that honestly feels like a local secret. I mean, most people head straight to the main strip in Hurghada, but this place sits in the Elwazra area where you actually get some breathing room from the tourist chaos. The address says 58 B, and yeah, it’s a bit tucked back there – but that’s exactly why it works.

The whole vibe here is refreshingly low-key for a 4-star spot. When I walked in, there wasn’t that overwhelming marble-and-gold thing happening that you see everywhere else along the Red Sea coast. Instead, it feels more… I don’t know, approachable? The staff genuinely seemed to know what they were doing, and check-in was smooth without being overly formal. What really got me was how quiet it stays, even during peak season – you’re close enough to everything but far enough back that you’re not dealing with the constant hum of tour buses and beach vendors that can drive you crazy in central Hurghada.

The location is actually pretty clever when you think about it. You’re literally behind El Gouna, which means you can easily hop over to those fancy marina restaurants and boutiques when you want to splurge, but you’re not paying El Gouna prices for your room. It’s like having the best of both worlds – access to the upscale stuff without the pretension. The beach access is solid too, and honestly, the water here is just as crystal clear as anywhere else along this stretch of coast. I noticed they keep the pool area really well maintained, and there’s this nice flow between indoor and outdoor spaces that works whether you’re dealing with those intense midday sun hours or the cooler evening breeze off the Red Sea.

Parking was never an issue, which – trust me – matters more than you’d think in this area. The 8.9 rating makes total sense once you spend a few days here; it’s not trying to be the flashiest place on the coast, but everything just works the way it should. The rooms are comfortable without being fussy, the service hits that sweet spot between attentive and not hovering, and you wake up feeling like you’re actually in Egypt rather than some generic resort bubble.

  Having the pool in front of the house directly is a game changer. The house itself is very clean and spacious. The people are very kind, helpful and always present. Amazing price for value.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing about the apartment, only be aware if you don't have a car tha there is nothing around regarding supermarkets and restaurants, except for play Kite. But the house is great.

  Apartament is very spacious, everything is newly furbished, quuet location and close to the beach.
  Excellent location to practice kitesurf, the kitesurf school is right across the street.

  Our apartment at Boka Bay was amazing. Everything was brand new, excellent quality and brilliantly clean. The bed was super comfy, beautiful bathroom, tv, comfy sofa even a washing machine. The swimming pool is beautiful but cold, lovely to swim in. Big roof terrace which was lovely and hot. Very friendly staff. A lot of the apartments in Boka Bay are not yet finished. However all the areas which we used were immaculate.
  We didn't have transport here, we did a boat day trip and they happily picked us up from the hotel, we also did a lot of walking which was quite interesting, away from the madding crowds. However there are many buildings all around that are only half built.
  
  What could be improved: The surrounding area has also not been finished (Nov '22) so there is only one small shop in the area – attached to a hotel – Apartment Tina View (I think)
  The sea is not really suitable for swimming in as there are no established beaches yet.
  However we did feel that this was reflected in the price.

  Appartment was spacious and new. The area around is really quiet day and night time. If you like kitesurfing, the schoo and kite spotl is next door. For sure we will come be back!

  Modern facilities and very friendly staff.
  
  What could be improved: It is located north Hurghada, with few facilities ( shops , restos) around. You need to go to down town for most of the activities – no difficulty by Uber or taxi- .
  It is more than compensated w the friendliness of the owner and staff.

  What could be improved: Location is so far from everything .. if you are not traveling with a car it will be very hard to use uber or indriver .. the staff were not answering all the time (x7 times) and we accommodate in a studio not in a 1 bedroom apartment as my stay but it was not bad .. everywhere you find flies and geckos at night on stairs and gardens.
