You know what struck me first about this place? It’s actually brand new – and I mean properly new, not just “renovated bathroom” new. The smell of fresh paint was still lingering when I visited, which honestly made it feel like we were the first family to really break it in. Located right in Tawila, which is sort of the quieter residential side of El Gouna, it’s got this authentic neighborhood vibe that most tourists never experience.

The lagoon access is the real game-changer here, especially if you’re traveling with kids. Instead of fighting for beach space at the main resort areas, you’ve got this calm, shallow water right at your doorstep – perfect for little ones who aren’t strong swimmers yet. The pool situation is interesting too; it’s shared with the community, but honestly, it never felt crowded during my stay. Most families seemed to gravitate toward the lagoon anyway, which makes sense because the water there is consistently warmer and you don’t have that chlorine smell clinging to your swimsuits.

What really impressed me was how the owners clearly understood what families actually need. The kitchen is properly equipped (not just a mini-fridge and hope for the best), and there’s enough space for everyone to spread out without stepping on each other. The Wi-Fi actually works – tested it during a video call with terrible Egyptian internet at other places, but this was solid. Parking was straightforward too, which might sound boring but trust me, after circling blocks in other parts of El Gouna looking for a spot, you’ll appreciate it. The location puts you about a 10-minute drive from downtown El Gouna’s restaurants and shops, close enough to grab dinner at Moods or catch the shuttle to the marina, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the late-night party noise. I mean, the 9.3 rating makes sense when you actually stay here – it’s one of those places where the small details are handled well, from having enough towels to decent water pressure in the shower. For families wanting to experience El Gouna without the resort premium prices, this hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  Fantastic home with a great view and fabulous amenities. It had everything we needed.
  The location was also great, not central, but 5 min away from anywhere. We received a list of helpful contacts including a supermarket and transport.
