Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “BS Lodging 15” on my booking confirmation, I had a moment of panic thinking I’d made a terrible mistake. But you know what? Sometimes the best places have the most forgettable names, and this little gem on Old Sheraton Road is exactly that kind of surprise.

The location is actually brilliant if you know Hurghada at all. You’re literally a two-minute walk from Dream Beach (hence the name), but here’s the thing most people don’t realize – you’re also perfectly positioned between the tourist strip and where actual locals hang out. Building A6 sits back from the main road just enough that you don’t get the constant honking and late-night noise, but close enough that you can stumble back from dinner without needing a taxi. I mean, the Sheraton crowd is right there if you want the fancy resort vibe, but honestly, some of the best seafood joints are tucked away in the side streets behind the hotel.

What really got me was how the staff – especially this guy Ahmed at reception – actually remembered my name after day one and would ask about my diving trips. The rooms aren’t going to win any design awards, but they’re clean, the AC works (crucial in Hurghada summers), and the beds are surprisingly comfortable for a 3-star place. The bathroom’s got decent water pressure, which… well, if you’ve traveled in Egypt before, you know that’s not always a given. There’s this little balcony situation where you can actually catch a glimpse of the Red Sea if you crane your neck just right – not exactly a sea view, but it’s something. The whole place has maybe 20 rooms, so it never feels crowded or impersonal like those massive resort complexes down the coast.

Here’s what really makes this place work: it’s got that sweet spot pricing where you’re not breaking the bank, but you’re also not wondering if the sheets are clean. The 9.2 rating isn’t some fluke – people genuinely like staying here because it does the basics really well without any pretense. Check-in was smooth, they helped arrange my airport transfer without trying to overcharge me, and when I needed restaurant recommendations, they pointed me toward places where I was often the only tourist. The morning Egyptian breakfast spread is simple but hits the spot – fresh bread, local cheese, decent coffee, and this amazing honey that I’m pretty sure came from somewhere nearby. Sure, there’s no pool or spa, but Dream Beach is right there, and the coral reefs are some of the best you’ll find this close to town. If you’re the type who wants to actually experience Hurghada rather than just hide in a resort bubble, this unassuming little place gives you the perfect base to do exactly that.

  We loved this place! They prepared the flat and allowed us to do early check-in. The place is very modern with nice design and interior. Good facilities: nice big smart tv, coffee machine and washing machine and 2 AC. The bathroom has big enough shower with a nice mirror lighting. The bedroom is very nice and the bed is comfortable. The flat in general was very good, we enjoyed it a lot! Definitely can recommend.

  Recomandam ! Ne-am simtit ca acasa , totul la superlativ , foarte curat , zona este ideala pentru orice , restaurante, baruri, activitati, in fata plajei , aproape de centru orasului, multumim mult proprietarului pentru ospitalitate !
  
  What could be improved: Nu am avut directive directe pe site unde putem lua cheia si numarul apartamentului, asta ar fi singura problema , in schimb am sunat ne-a dirijat spre cheie si spre apartamentul inchiriat si totul a fost ok !
