Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to BS Lodging 16 on Elysee Hotel Street – the name alone had me wondering what I’d gotten myself into. But you know what? Sometimes the places with the quirky names turn out to be the hidden gems, and this little spot is exactly that. The location is actually perfect if you’re serious about beach time – Dream Beach is literally right there, like a two-minute walk where you’re already hearing the waves before you’ve even left the property. I mean, sure, it’s not the fanciest stretch of Hurghada’s coastline, but it’s got that authentic Egyptian Red Sea vibe without the crowds of tourists you’ll find at the big resort beaches.

The apartment itself is surprisingly well put together for a 3-star place. The owner clearly gets what travelers actually need – decent Wi-Fi (I was working remotely for part of my stay), a kitchen that’s not just for show, and honestly, the best part is the little balcony where you can sit with your morning coffee and actually see the water. The street can get a bit lively in the evenings – you’ve got locals heading to the nearby cafes and the occasional taxi honking – but it dies down by around 10 PM, so it’s not like you’re dealing with all-night party noise. What really impressed me was how clean everything was; I’ve stayed in supposedly higher-end places that didn’t have the attention to detail this place has. The bathroom actually has proper water pressure (trust me, this matters more than you think when you’ve been swimming in salt water all day), and there’s this little welcome setup they do with local dates and tea that feels genuinely thoughtful rather than corporate.

Here’s what sold me on recommending this place to people – it sits in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk to the marina area when you want proper restaurants and nightlife, but far enough from the main hotel strip that you’re not dealing with tour groups at 6 AM. The family running it actually lives nearby, so when I had a question about where to find good koshari (there’s this place about ten minutes inland that locals go to), they knew exactly what I was talking about. You’ll pay maybe a third of what the beachfront hotels charge, get twice the space, and honestly? The view from that balcony during sunset is pretty spectacular. Just pack some mosquito spray if you’re visiting during the warmer months – being this close to the water has its trade-offs, but nothing that ruins the experience.

  I had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful apartment for the second time, the place has everything you need for a comfortable and hassle-free stay from a well-equipped kitchen to cozy furnishings that make it feel like home.
  
  What truly makes this place special is the owner. He is kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything you might need. His hospitality made me feel welcomed and cared for throughout my stay. It made me feel safe and comfortable there.   I loved the apartment. It is the place which you’d choose for your stay once again. My favourite great location of the city and apartment itself is so well maintained, everything in great condition and there’s everything you need. It was perfectly clean which is so important for me, lots of lights to make it cozy, nice balcony, all amenities are there.   The apartment is located in a building guarded by a video recorder. The apartment is in excellent condition with good repair and is clean. Opposite there are 2 beaches, one entrance costs 4 dollars, the second entrance costs 8 dollars. If for a short stay the option is ideal.
  
  What could be improved: The house is located in a residential area surrounded by long-term construction projects on all sides; renovations may begin in any of these buildings on all sides.When there is wind, it is very dusty, when there is no wind, there are a lot of mosquitoes.
  
  I would still prefer cotton bed linen.

  Квартира содержится в превосходном состоянии, хорошая посуда, кондиционеры в каждой комнате, отличный Wi-Fi. Техника, мебель и посуда как новые.. Белье и полотенца чистые. Уютный диван в прихожей, подключен Netflix.
  Удобное расположение, рядом променад Мамши, пляжи на разный вкус. Район хороший, тихий.
  Заезд-выезд удобный, владелец очень ответственный, подробно отвечает на любые вопросы связанные с проживанием и бронированием.

  Die Unterkunft hat eine gute zentrale Lage, somit ist alles zu Fuß oder mit dem Taxi/Uber innerhalb weniger Minuten erreichbar.
  Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr modern eingerichtet und bietet alles was man braucht. Küchenutensilien, Reinigungsmittel, TV, etc. alles vorhanden.
  Ein außergewöhnliches Plus war das sehr gut funktionierende kostenlose WLAN inklusive direktem Zugriff am TV auf Netflix, YouTube.
  Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt und standen im engen Kontakt mit dem Vermieter, er war jederzeit sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.
