Hotel Description
So I’ve been staying at the Cleopatra Resort F16 whenever I’m in Hurghada, and honestly, it’s one of those places that just gets it right without trying too hard. The location on Corniche Street is pretty sweet – you’re literally across from the Hilton Plaza, which means you’ve got that whole stretch of waterfront right there, but you’re not paying Hilton prices, you know?
The thing about this place is that it feels properly Egyptian without being touristy about it. I mean, sure, it’s got the pharaoh theme going on (obviously, with a name like Cleopatra), but they don’t beat you over the head with it. The lobby’s got this nice marble thing happening, and the staff actually remembers your name after a day or two – which is rare for a 4-star place that gets as busy as this one does. The 7.8 rating makes sense to me because it’s solid across the board without being flashy. You’ll find better breakfast spreads at the 5-star resorts down the coast, but honestly, the Egyptian breakfast here is better than most – proper ful medames and fresh baladi bread, not the weird international buffet stuff.
What I really like is how they handle the Red Sea access. You’re not technically beachfront, but the corniche walk to the good diving spots takes maybe ten minutes, and you pass all these little ahwas and juice stands along the way. The hotel shuttle actually knows which dive centers are worth your time (go with Emperor Divers if you’re serious about it), and they don’t push the overpriced hotel excursions too hard. The pool area gets good sun most of the day, though it can get a bit echo-y when the Russian tour groups are in full swing – just saying. Air conditioning works properly, which… well, you’d be surprised how many places mess that up in Hurghada’s heat. Rooms are clean, decent size, and the balconies actually have space for two people to sit with morning coffee. Internet’s reliable enough for video calls, parking’s never been an issue when I’ve driven down from Cairo, and check-in is refreshingly straightforward. It’s the kind of place where you can tell the management actually cares about running a decent hotel rather than just collecting booking fees, if that makes sense.

The location is very good and the apartment is clean and it has new air conditioning , frig , stove etc
What could be improved: The view is trouble, and the water supply is unstable. You have to call the concierge to make it stable again .. I did not like the lake of information to know what to do and where to go in case you have a problem, especially on the day of arrival the owner contact number was switched off since the early morning and we arrived by the location with no idea what to do or how to get access to the apartment for almost 2 hoursDoha from Egypt – 9 September 2022 (6/10)
The location and the fact that it was really close to the beach.
What could be improved: 1. It was full of ants from the first second we stepped into the apartment.
2. The elevator was almost always broken.
3. There were almost no kitchen utensils.
4. The bathroom window was open and there was no way to close it. So, it could let rats or other animals in.Abdullatief from Egypt – 27 December 2023 (6/10)
