You know what struck me first about this place? It’s actually tucked right inside the Nubia Aqua Beach Resort complex, which honestly took me a minute to figure out from the booking – but that’s kind of the genius of it. You’re getting this private studio setup while having access to all the resort amenities, and I mean, the private beach situation is legit. None of that crowded Red Sea coastline chaos you get at some of the bigger Hurghada spots.

The studio itself is pretty straightforward – nothing fancy, but it’s got that “family only or female” policy which creates this surprisingly peaceful vibe. I stayed during what locals call the shoulder season (late October), and the whole place felt like a well-kept secret. The pools – yeah, there’s more than one – are actually clean and not overcrowded, which is saying something for a 3-star setup in this part of Egypt. What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to know everyone by name after day two. There’s this genuine hospitality thing happening that you don’t always get at the massive resort chains along the coast.

Here’s the thing about the location though – you’re about 15 minutes from downtown Hurghada, which means you can easily grab dinner at those little seafood joints the locals hit up (ask about El Dahar district), but you’re far enough out that you’re not dealing with the tourist strip noise at night. The beach access is honestly the selling point – it’s this protected stretch where the snorkeling is actually decent, and I saw families letting their kids play in the shallows without constantly hovering. The 7.6 rating makes sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it delivers on what it promises. My only real gripe was the WiFi being spotty in the evening when everyone’s trying to upload their Red Sea photos, but honestly, that forced me to actually disconnect for a bit. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between resort amenities and authentic local experience without breaking the bank, this place gets it right.

  The room itself was a good size and quiet, with a few hotplates and a toaster oven.
  
  What could be improved: This is a privately owned room in one of those prison-like resorts on the Red Sea coast. The room itself was pleasant enough, but the dishes weren't clean (and no dish soap was provided) and the rest of the cleaning was haphazard. I thought this odd considering all of the cleaning equipment they left cluttering the bathroom. The smell of mould was explained by the disintegrating drywall under the kitchen sink. The "meal plan" prices quoted in the Booking.com ad are half of what they actually cost when you go to the buffet restaurant. The nearest markets that don't sell food at triple its value are a one-hour walk away, although microbuses and the mafia taxi are easily hailed. In addition to the price advertised on Booking.com you will also be charged € 4.50 for the resort's security ID bracelet. If you want wifi you will have to pay an extra € 19.42 at an Orange dealer you'll have to visit in either El Gouna or Hurghada, and then curse the very poor wifi signal in the room. The tourist resort strip for kilometres surrounding your resort are reminiscent of a zombie apocalypse movie with permanently halted construction or abandoned ruins of resorts with sad names like "Romance Beach". When added up, the cost is too high for what you are getting.

  За отдельную плату можно питаться в ресторане отеля.

  الاستوديو نضيف و المالك متعاون و محترم جدااا لما وصلت بسأله ممكن أجيب مياة منين فأخدنى بعربيته للسوبر ماركت و جيبت كل احتياجاتى غير إنه اى وقت كنت بكلمه تليفونه متاح على طول و بيحل اى مشكلة بسرعة و الفندق جميل و فعلا استمتعنا ب الأجازة و حقيقى أنا بشكره

  rien défaut de douche à chaque douche l’eau aller par terre pas d’eau chaude baignoire boucher et quand on demande a ce que le problème soit résolu elle nous indique de payer un plombier donc des frais qui ne devrait pas être à notre charge
