Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to this one-bedroom at Princess Resort – I mean, it’s technically a 3-star place, but that 9.4 rating had me curious. The thing is, once you’re actually walking through El Mamsha (that’s the main strip here), you realize location really is everything in Hurghada. This spot sits right at 147a, which puts you close enough to the action but far enough that you’re not dealing with the constant buzz of scooters and street vendors at all hours.

What actually got me was how the place feels way more spacious than you’d expect from a typical resort room. The bedroom has this almost apartment-like vibe – there’s actual storage space, which anyone who’s lived out of a suitcase for more than a week will appreciate. But here’s the real deal: you’ve got multiple pools to choose from (I counted at least three during my stay), and honestly, the private beach access is what sets this apart from those cookie-cutter hotels further inland. The water here is that ridiculous turquoise you see in photos, except it’s actually real. I spent most mornings walking along the shore before the day-trippers showed up – there’s something about that early light hitting the Red Sea that just… well, you know what I mean.

The practical stuff matters too, and this is where the place really delivers. Check-in was surprisingly smooth, parking wasn’t the nightmare I expected (there’s decent space near the main building), and the whole resort has this laid-back energy that I didn’t get at some of the flashier places I’ve stayed along this coast. You’re close enough to walk to decent restaurants – there’s this little seafood spot about ten minutes down El Mamsha that locals actually eat at, not just tourists. The pools get busy around midday, but early evening is perfect if you want to actually swim laps instead of dodging kids with floaties. One thing though – the Wi-Fi can be spotty in the bedroom itself, stronger near the main pool area if you need to get work done. The whole Princess Resort complex has this sort of established feel to it, like it’s been here long enough to figure out what works. Air conditioning kept up fine even during those brutal afternoon hours in summer, and honestly, for the price point, you’re getting a lot more space and amenities than you’d find at comparable places closer to the airport or marina district.

  Der Strand ist sehr schön und der Weg zu unserer Tauchbasis war auch nicht weit. Das ein Supermarkt in der Nähe ist hat uns auch gefallen.

  Super schöne Anlage und das security Personal war sehr freundlich. Mit dem Vermieter hätte ich per whats app kontakt und war alles super unkompliziert. Die Anlage ist sehr zentral und der Strandabschnitt auf der gegenüberliegenden seite. Sehr zu empfehlen

  Mr. Moataz ist ein toller Gastgeber, unkompliziert und zuvorkommend, einfache Kommunikation per Whatsapp, antwortet sehr schnell.
  Top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, sehr schönes Appartment, sehr sauber! Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht.
  Gepflegte Anlage. Großer Supermarkt (Carrefour) gleich ums Eck. Schöner, sauberer Strand mit Beach Bar (großartige Küche, tolles Personal, gute Preise).
  
  What could be improved: Lage: Leider kann man sich außerhalb der Anlage keinen Meter bewegen, ohne von unzähligen sehr aufdringlichen Verkäufern belästigt zu werden, die einen in ihre Geschäfte drängen wollen.
  Strand: Der Strand ist voller rücksichtsloser slowakischer Touristen, die denken, der Strand der gehört ihnen (laute Musik, schreien quer über den ganzen Strand, singen, selbst mitgebrachter Alkohol…). Sehr störend.
  Aussicht: Man schaut leider nur auf eine unfertige Bauruine. Sieht man aber auf den Fotos, daher keine Überraschung.
