You know what caught me off guard about this place? It’s actually right by the Gouna Club and Stadium, which sounds like it could be noisy, but honestly – it’s one of the quieter spots I’ve stayed at in El Gouna. The three-bedroom setup is perfect if you’re traveling with family or a group of friends who want their own space but don’t want to blow the budget on separate hotel rooms. I mean, with an 8.8 rating, I had decent expectations, but the reality was even better than the photos suggested.

The location is sort of brilliant once you figure out the area. You’re on the main Gouna road, so getting around is actually pretty straightforward – none of that getting lost in the maze of smaller streets that happens in some parts of town. Walking to the marina takes maybe 15 minutes if you’re moving at a decent pace, and there’s this little shortcut through the residential area that the owner mentioned during check-in. What I really appreciated was having a proper kitchen – not just a kitchenette with a sad mini-fridge, but actual counter space and a full-size refrigerator. After a few days of restaurant meals, being able to grab groceries from the local market and cook breakfast felt like a luxury. The bedrooms are well thought out too; the master has this nice view toward the lagoon area, and the other two are quieter since they face away from the road.

The whole Swan Lake area has this laid-back residential vibe that’s different from the busier hotel zones. You’ll hear the call to prayer from the nearby mosque, which honestly becomes part of the rhythm of the place after a day or two. Parking was never an issue – there’s dedicated space, which is more than I can say for some of the places closer to downtown Gouna. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty in the back bedrooms, but it’s solid in the main living area. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward; the property manager actually lives nearby and was super helpful with local recommendations. She pointed us toward this fish restaurant that’s not on any tourist maps but serves the best grilled sea bass I’ve had in Egypt. For a three-star place, the attention to detail really shows – good water pressure, air conditioning that actually works, and beds that don’t feel like you’re sleeping on cardboard. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between having your own space and being close enough to everything El Gouna offers, this place hits it perfectly.
