You know what caught me off guard about this place? The name says “Cozy apartment in Andalusia” but you’re actually right in the heart of Hurghada – I mean, we’re talking Red Sea Egypt here, not southern Spain. Don’t let that confuse you though, because honestly, this little gem delivers exactly what most people come to Hurghada for.
The location is actually pretty sweet if you know the area. You’re close enough to the main strip that you can walk to decent restaurants without needing a taxi every time, but far enough from the resort madness that you won’t have tour groups marching past your window at 6 AM. The “free beach” part isn’t just marketing speak either – there’s genuine beach access that doesn’t involve paying resort fees or dealing with pushy beach vendors every five minutes. I spent most mornings there with my coffee, watching the fishing boats head out before the wind picks up. The Red Sea here is honestly incredible for snorkeling if you’re into that – the coral’s still pretty healthy compared to some spots that have been completely trampled by tourism.
What I really appreciated was how the place felt more like staying at someone’s actual apartment rather than a sterile hotel room. The owner clearly lives in Hurghada year-round and knows what travelers actually need – decent Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every hour, a kitchen setup that’s actually functional (not just decorative), and air conditioning that can handle the summer heat without sounding like a jet engine. The 3-star rating is about right – it’s not luxury, but everything works and it’s genuinely comfortable. That 8 out of 10 rating from other guests makes sense to me too. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that resort paperwork marathon, and parking was never an issue which is honestly a relief in this part of town. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the hot water takes a few minutes to kick in, but that’s pretty standard for older buildings in Hurghada. If you’re coming during peak season (basically October through April), book early because places like this that offer good value without the resort markup tend to fill up fast with people who actually know the area.
