Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be straight with you about Davinci Beach Resort – it’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be fancy, and honestly, that’s kind of refreshing in Hurghada where every other resort is throwing around words like “luxury” and “exclusive.” When I first pulled up to the place in El Helal District, my taxi driver actually knew exactly where it was (which, trust me, doesn’t always happen with some of the newer developments), and I could immediately tell this was going to be different from the massive resort complexes that dominate the Red Sea coastline.
The thing about Davinci is that it sits in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough from the chaos of the main hotel strip. You know what I mean? You can walk to local cafes where Egyptians actually eat – not just the tourist traps – and the beach access is surprisingly good for a 3-star place. The rooms are… well, they’re clean and functional, nothing that’ll blow your mind, but the air conditioning works (crucial in Hurghada summers), and I actually slept really well because it’s not right on the main road where those tour buses start rumbling at 6 AM. The staff genuinely seemed to care, which you can’t always say – they remembered my name after the second day, and the guy at reception gave me solid advice about which diving operators to avoid.
Here’s the real deal though: if you’re expecting marble lobbies and infinity pools, this isn’t your place. But if you want decent value, a location that feels more like actual Egypt rather than generic resort-land, and the kind of relaxed vibe where you can leave your flip-flops by the pool without worrying about them disappearing – well, then Davinci might surprise you. The breakfast is pretty standard Egyptian hotel fare, but they make solid ful medames if you ask, and honestly, I spent most mornings walking five minutes to this little ahwa nearby where the tea was better anyway. The beach itself gets busy with locals on Fridays (which I actually loved – real Egyptian families having fun), but the rest of the week it’s pretty chill. Just manage your expectations going in, and you might find yourself recommending it to friends who care more about authentic experiences than Instagram-worthy pool shots.

The staff were really friendly, and I liked my room with a balcony (chilled out in the sun, and watched the sunset). Private beach access was great, and the water was warm enough to swim in. The place could do with some updating here and there, but it's not a big deal. The price was cheap and the experience was cheerful!
What could be improved: I wasn't big fan of the food. However, it was edible and typical to all-inclusive places everywhere in th world (e.g. eclectic mix of pasta, pizza, and rice all on the same plate).Ouiza from United States – 24 January 2025 (7/10)
What could be improved: excellent service
Sal from United Kingdom – 12 November 2024 (8/10)
Room was clean, bed was super comfy and good was nice.
What could be improved: No toiletries in the bathroom, couldn't have a bath as the hot water stopped after a few minutes of running and also the bath wouldn't drain unless I physically held the tap.Damien from Ireland – 10 November 2024 (8/10)

My experience was really good at this hotel especially Abd Rahman at the front desk was super helpful and approachable and meeting my needs. Also they were establishing a new gym and I got the chance to workout which was a plus. I’ll definitely come again !
What could be improved: The facilities generally are acceptable maybe they need to work a little bit on the food varieties especially breakfastMaged from Egypt – 20 September 2024 (7/10)

What could be improved: The pool and kids area were destroyed and very dirty
Photos of the hotel were deceiving as they presented a photo of an amazing pool
