Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Diamond Arabia with Wi Fi” in the name, I rolled my eyes a bit. I mean, who advertises Wi Fi in their hotel name these days? But you know what, after staying there twice now, I actually get it. The internet is solid throughout the property, which isn’t something you can take for granted in this part of Hurghada.
The hotel sits on 20th Street, which puts you in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to the action but not drowning in tourist chaos. It’s maybe a 10-minute walk to the main strip where all the restaurants and shops are, but honestly, the neighborhood around the hotel has some gems too. There’s this little juice bar about two blocks down that locals actually go to – they make this incredible mango-passion fruit mix that I’m still dreaming about. The building itself is classic Egyptian hotel architecture, nothing too fancy, but it’s got character. Check-in was surprisingly smooth both times I’ve been there, though I’d recommend arriving after 3 PM because the afternoon shift seems more organized than the morning crew.
What really impressed me was how they handle the details that matter. The rooms are clean – and I mean actually clean, not just “looks clean from a distance” clean. Air conditioning works properly, which is crucial when you’re dealing with Hurghada heat. The beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with a sore back, and the bathrooms have decent water pressure. I stayed in room 413 last time, and it was quiet despite being on a fairly busy street. You get some street noise during the day, but it dies down by evening. The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay work – they helped me sort out a taxi to the airport at 5 AM without making it feel like a huge inconvenience. The housekeeping team does a thorough job, and they’re not intrusive about it.
Here’s the thing that really sets Diamond Arabia apart though – it feels authentic. You’re not stuck in some resort bubble where everything costs three times what it should. The hotel attracts a mix of business travelers and tourists, so you get this nice atmosphere where it’s not all families with screaming kids or groups of partying twenty-somethings. The location means you can walk to real Egyptian restaurants, not just tourist traps. That 9-star rating makes sense when you consider what you’re paying – this isn’t luxury, but it’s solid value with people who know what they’re doing running the place. If you’re looking for Instagram-perfect infinity pools and marble lobbies, look elsewhere. But if you want a clean, reliable base for exploring Hurghada without breaking the bank, Diamond Arabia delivers exactly what it promises.
