You know what really caught me off guard about this place? The fact that it’s tucked right into Abu Tig Marina with a 9.5 rating, and honestly – it actually lives up to the hype. I mean, I’ve stayed at plenty of 3-star spots that barely scrape by, but El Gouna Abu Tig Marina OV3550 feels like someone took a boutique hotel concept and just made it work without all the pretentious nonsense.

The location is honestly perfect if you want that Red Sea vibe without the chaos of central Hurghada. You’re literally steps from the marina, which sounds fancy but it’s actually pretty chill – you can grab coffee in the morning and watch the boats without dealing with pushy vendors or crazy traffic. El Gouna itself is this planned resort town that feels almost European in some ways, with actual sidewalks and reasonable traffic (shocking, I know). The apartment setup means you get proper space to spread out, and let me tell you, after a day of diving or wandering around the marina, having a real living area instead of just a hotel room makes all the difference. Check-in was surprisingly smooth – none of that endless paperwork drama you sometimes get in Egypt.

What really sold me though was the attention to detail. The place is clean (and I mean actually clean, not just “good enough” clean), the AC works properly (crucial in this heat), and you can actually sleep at night because it’s not right on a main road. The kitchen setup is basic but functional – perfect for making breakfast or keeping drinks cold. And honestly, the staff just seemed to get it. They’re helpful without being overbearing, and they actually know the area well enough to give you decent recommendations. The marina area gets pretty lively in the evenings, but it’s more of a pleasant buzz than party-central noise. During the day, especially in the mornings, it’s incredibly peaceful – you can hear the water lapping against the boats and actually relax. I’d definitely come back here, especially if you want to explore El Gouna properly rather than just being stuck in some massive resort complex where everything costs twice as much.

  My wife and I had an amazing six-day stay at this beautiful place. The view was breathtaking, and the atmosphere was serene and tranquil. The apartment was cozy, with a spacious bed and comfortable bedding. The terrace was fantastic, bathed in sunlight from sunrise to sunset throughout the day.
  
  The place was fully equipped, and everything functioned perfectly. The furniture was elegant, showcasing a high sense of sophistication.
  
  Our host, Sandrine, was incredibly kind, generous, and helpful.

  The location is just a dream..the balcony has an astonishing view over the Marina, the lagoon, the sea, the hills, the gardens and also El Gouna Festival Plaza!
  The unit is so cozy, well equipped with a lot of original paintings, it’s simply made with Love..
  Very competitive prices vs the hotels with larger area.

  Amazing location, very spacious , big windows with a lovely view of gouna and the sea. Both the bed and sofa bed are very comfy. Th4 lighting is nice with plenty of side lamps. Would definitely go back!
