You know what struck me first about this place? The fact that it’s right at El Gouna’s entrance, which honestly turned out to be way better than I expected. I mean, most people assume you want to be deep in the heart of things, but being positioned here means you get the best of both worlds – easy access to everything El Gouna offers without the tourist crowds literally outside your door.

This ground floor apartment is actually pretty clever in its setup. Two bedrooms that comfortably sleep four, and the whole waterside thing isn’t just marketing fluff – you genuinely wake up to water views that make your morning coffee taste better somehow. The space feels lived-in rather than sterile, which I appreciate after staying in too many cookie-cutter hotel rooms. There’s something about having a proper kitchen that makes you feel less like a tourist and more like you’re just… living somewhere beautiful for a while. The furnishing is that comfortable middle ground – not fancy enough to make you nervous about spilling something, but nice enough that you’re not questioning your life choices.

What really sells this place, though, is how it connects you to El Gouna without overwhelming you. You’re maybe a five-minute walk from the marina area where all the restaurants and nightlife happen, but far enough that you can actually sleep without hearing every conversation from the street. The taxi drivers all know exactly where “the entrance apartments” are, which saves you from those awkward moments trying to explain your location in broken Arabic. And honestly? Being near the entrance means you’re first in line when those gorgeous Red Sea sunsets start – the view from here catches the light hitting the water in a way that the inner lagoons just don’t match. The whole area gets this golden glow around 5 PM that makes even your worst travel day photos look like they belong in a magazine.

The rating of 9 out of 10 makes complete sense once you’ve been here a few days. It’s not trying to be a luxury resort – it’s just a really solid, well-thought-out place to stay that gets the fundamentals right. The WiFi actually works, the water pressure is decent, and there’s enough space that four people aren’t constantly bumping into each other. Plus, you’re positioned perfectly for day trips to Hurghada proper if you want the bigger city experience, but you can retreat back to El Gouna’s more relaxed vibe whenever the chaos gets to be too much.
