You know what caught me off guard about this place in Tawila? The moment you walk through the front door, you’re hit with this incredible view that stretches straight through to the lagoon – it’s like the whole villa was designed around that one perfect sightline. I mean, El Gouna has plenty of nice properties, but this four-bedroom setup actually delivers on the “elegant” part of its name without feeling stuffy or overdone.

The private pool is honestly the star here, and I’ve stayed at enough places in the Red Sea area to know when one’s actually worth the hype. It’s positioned so you get morning sun but afternoon shade from the villa itself – whoever planned this understood how brutal the Egyptian sun can get around 2 PM. The pool area flows naturally into the indoor spaces, which is clutch when you’ve got a group that wants to spread out. Some people gravitate toward the lagoon access (and fair enough, the water there is ridiculously clear), while others camp out by the pool with a book. The bedrooms are spacious enough that you’re not tripping over each other’s stuff, and the master has this great cross-breeze thing going on that actually makes a difference during those warm Gouna nights.

What really sets this apart from other rentals in the area – and trust me, I’ve done the villa circuit here – is how it sits in Tawila itself. You’re away from the main tourist crush around Abu Tig Marina, but it’s not like you’re stranded. The local mini-market is maybe a five-minute walk, and honestly, their fresh bread situation in the morning is better than what you’ll find at some of the resort hotels. The 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’re actually here; it’s one of those places where the small details work in your favor. Check-in was smooth, the WiFi actually works throughout the house (not always a given in Egypt, let’s be real), and the kitchen is equipped well enough that you can handle more than just reheating leftovers. The lagoon access means you can literally walk out your back area and be in the water – no crowded beach, no fighting for chairs, just you and some of the clearest water you’ll find along this stretch of coast. It’s the kind of setup where you find yourself extending your stay if you can swing it, because honestly, why rush back to reality when you’ve got your own slice of Red Sea paradise working this well?

  I came to this property on May 2024. The villa is very clean , the location is close to downtown and the marina. The host Zein is an amazing person and very helpful. I recommend this place.
