You know what caught me off guard about the Azzurra? The name actually delivers on its promise – those sea views really do hit you with that perfect azzurro blue the moment you walk in. I mean, I’ve stayed in plenty of places that oversell their water views, but this little studio on Sahl Hashish Road honestly surprised me. The location is sort of tucked away from the main tourist chaos of Hurghada, which I actually loved – you get that peaceful vibe without being completely cut off from everything.

The studio itself is exactly what you’d want for a Red Sea getaway. It’s got this lived-in elegance that feels way more expensive than what you’re paying for. The bed faces those floor-to-ceiling windows, so you’re basically waking up to the sea every morning (though fair warning – if you’re not an early riser, you might want to figure out those curtains). What really impressed me was how they managed to make such a compact space feel so… well, uncluttered. There’s actually enough room to spread out your dive gear or beach stuff without turning the place into a disaster zone. The little kitchenette is perfectly functional too – I made coffee there every morning and honestly, sipping it while watching the fishing boats head out became my favorite daily ritual.

Here’s what I wish someone had told me before I booked: the area gets pretty quiet after sunset, which is either perfect or slightly isolating depending on what you’re after. If you want to hit the bars and restaurants in central Hurghada, you’re looking at a short taxi ride – but honestly, I found myself just ordering in and enjoying the peace more often than not. The Wi-Fi actually works well (I was working remotely for part of my stay), and the air conditioning is solid, which matters more than you think during those sweltering July afternoons. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that bureaucratic nonsense you sometimes get at larger hotels. The whole experience just felt… authentic, I guess? Like staying at a well-appointed friend’s place rather than a corporate hotel room. That 9.1 rating isn’t just people being generous – this place genuinely gets the details right.

  We loved staying at the studio. The owner Mostafa was really hospitable and went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The flat is within a well-maintained residential complex with easy access to some nice restaurants, a convenience store, 7 swimming pools. A complimentary minibus takes the guests to a nice long sandy beach and the ride is only 5 minutes.
  The studio is impeccably clean and equipped with a kitchenette that has all you need for cooking meals. The AC works well. I also appreciated that oriental touch to the decor that makes the room stylish.
  Also there's a spacious terrace outside with an amazing sea view and really cozy armchairs and a coffee table.
  I would definitely recommend staying at the property if you are looking for a quiet and relaxed holiday in a beautiful place

  The property was wonderful, everything about the place was perfect. The studio was very spacious, had everything we needed and the balcony was perfect we spent a lot of our morning having coffee there. Mostafa the host in particular was very helpful and kind with everything, very responsive at all times.

  What could be improved: This is not what I did not like, but rather a recommendation. It's better to rent a golf cart/ bike in order to be able to go back and forth the beach as there is a problem with taxis in the area.

  Everything was perfect, the suite was fully equipped, all the appliances are new and works perfectly,the furniture also is new and very comfortable, the view is extraordinary, the resort contains everything plenty of pools, restaurant, market and more we didn’t have to go out also the beach is very calm and enjoyable and the snorkeling was a pleasure to eyes, at the end thanks to the owner mostafa who was extremely helpful and kind.

  Clean place and was equipped with all the essentials needed for a short break. The location was amazing, so peaceful with a variety of pools to choose from and the beach just a short distance away. Mustafa the owner was very helpful and supportive. Our son needed urgent medical assistance and Mustafa was very responsive and went above and beyond to help us.
