You know what caught me off guard about Elhambra First Avenue? It’s tucked right into the tourist promenade in Hurghada, but it doesn’t feel like one of those generic resort complexes that could be anywhere. I mean, sure, it’s a 3-star place, so don’t expect marble lobbies or anything fancy – but honestly, that’s part of what makes it work.

The location is actually pretty brilliant if you know Hurghada at all. You’re right on the tourist walkway, which sounds touristy (because it is), but that means everything’s walkable. Want to grab some koshary from a local spot? Five minutes. Need to hit the pharmacy or exchange money? Right there. The Red Sea is literally across the street, and I’m talking about the good snorkeling spots, not just some random beach. The building itself – First Avenue, south side – is easy to spot once you know where you’re looking, though the Arabic address might throw you off if you’re using GPS. Pro tip: just tell your taxi driver “tourist promenade” and you’ll find it.

What really surprised me was how quiet unit 439b stays despite being right in the action. Yeah, you’ll hear some street noise during the day, but nothing crazy, and honestly the sounds of the promenade are kind of charming – kids playing, people chatting, the occasional call to prayer echoing from the mosque nearby. The staff actually knows the area well, which is rarer than you’d think. They’ll tell you which dive shops are legit, when the fish market gets fresh stuff, that sort of thing. The check-in was smooth – no standing around for hours like at some of the bigger resorts. Parking can be a bit of a mess during peak season (December through March gets nuts), but most people don’t rent cars here anyway. The room itself is clean and functional, nothing Instagram-worthy but you’ve got AC that works, decent water pressure, and the bed’s comfortable enough. What more do you need when you’re spending most of your time exploring or diving? I actually appreciated that it felt more like staying in a real neighborhood than some isolated resort bubble where everything costs three times what it should.

  Es sieht eins zu eins aus wie auf den Bildern. Es mangelt einen an nichts und der Besitzer ist immer für einen erreichbar. es ist wirklich ein richtig tolles Apparment die Lage ist super und ein Supermarkt ist direkt unten wo man wirklich alles findet. Das Apparment war sauber, gepflegt und voll ausgestattet. Wir haben direkt für August gebucht. Der Strand ist nur 2 Minuten entfernt und da gibt es dann einen Shuttle der einen bis zum Meer bringt. Auch der Pool ist super große. Man fühlt sich sicher und gut aufgehoben. Vielen Dank! Preis Leistung passt zu 100%
