Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Evi’s place on Corniche Road, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star spot. But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come in unassuming packages. This little apartment hotel sits right in the Al Qiadat area, and honestly, Evi has figured out the secret sauce that a lot of fancier places miss entirely.

The infinity sea view isn’t just marketing speak – I mean, you’re literally looking out at the Red Sea stretching endlessly toward the horizon from most of the rooms. What really got me though was how Evi (and yeah, there’s actually an Evi who runs this place) has managed to create this incredibly personal atmosphere. She knows her guests by name within a day, remembers if you like your coffee strong, that sort of thing. The apartments themselves are clean and functional – nothing fancy, but everything works, which is more than I can say for some of the “luxury” places I’ve stayed at in Hurghada. The air conditioning actually cools the room, the WiFi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, and the little kitchenettes are properly stocked.

Here’s what the guidebooks won’t tell you: the location is actually perfect for people who want to experience real Hurghada without being stuck in the tourist bubble down south. You’re a quick walk to some genuine local restaurants – there’s this little place called Abu Ashraf about three blocks inland that serves the best koshari I’ve had outside Cairo. The corniche here is quieter than the main hotel strip, so you can actually hear the waves at night instead of poolside DJ sets. Parking is easy (rare for Hurghada), and you’re close enough to the action when you want it but far enough away to get some peace. The 9.4 rating makes total sense once you spend a few days here – it’s not about marble lobbies or infinity pools, it’s about genuine hospitality and getting the basics absolutely right. Evi somehow anticipates what you need before you ask for it, whether that’s extra towels, restaurant recommendations, or help arranging a dive trip. The other guests tend to be a mix of Europeans who’ve discovered this hidden gem and some savvy travelers who prioritize experience over Instagram-worthy amenities. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll actually want to hang around the property chatting with other guests rather than just crash between excursions, this is it.

  Très grand et très bel appartement, propre, équipé d'une grande cuisine et disposant d'un balcon offrant une vue magnifique sur la mer rouge. L'hôte était sympathique. La literie est confortable et la présence de la machine à laver est appréciable. Commerces en proximité. Et plage en face.
  
  Nous avons regretté qu'il n'y ait pas de savon, pas de liquide vaisselle, juste 1 grande serviette +1 petite serviette pour 2, pas de sel ni poivre, ni huile. 1 rouleau de papier toilette pour 3 nuits. Des torchons troués et brûlés. Nous aurions apprécié une dosette pour le lave linge, quelques sachets de thé et du café. Il n'y avait pas non plus de sac poubelle.
  Le logement est au 3eme étage : à la sortie de l'ascenseur, celui d'en face est un trou ouvert rempli de ruines. En haut des escaliers, un énorme bloc de béton s'est effondré ! Ce qui est assez peu rassurant à première vue.

  너무 마음에 드는 커다란 숙소였어요. 행복한 시간을 보냈습니다. 많은 이집트의 아파트처럼 건물 자체는 완성되지 않아 보였지만 집 자체는 훌륭했어요. 휴지, 물, 비누, 세제 등은 직접 마련해야 합니다. 근처에서 쉽게 살 후 있어요.
