You know what caught me off guard about this place? The moment you walk into this 2BR at Mangroovy, it actually feels like someone’s stylish vacation home rather than just another rental unit. I mean, sure, El Gouna has tons of accommodation options, but there’s something about the way this one’s set up that just works – maybe it’s how the living space opens up with those big windows, or honestly, it could be that you’re not crammed into some cookie-cutter hotel room.

The whole Mangroovy area sits in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to the action in El Gouna’s downtown (maybe a 10-minute walk to Abu Tig Marina if you’re moving at a decent pace), but you’re not dealing with the constant buzz of tourists wandering around at all hours. What really sells it though is the beach and pool access situation – and I don’t mean some crowded strip where you’re fighting for a chair. The beach here has that soft Red Sea sand that doesn’t burn your feet even in the afternoon heat, and the water’s incredibly clear. You can actually see fish swimming around just a few meters out, which honestly never gets old. The pool area tends to be pretty mellow during the day, though it picks up around sunset when people start gathering with drinks.

What I appreciate about staying here is all those little details that make a difference when you’re trying to actually relax. The kitchen’s properly equipped – not just some mini-fridge situation – so you can grab fresh produce from the local market and make breakfast without having to hunt down decent coffee every morning. The bedrooms are spacious enough that you’re not living on top of each other, and there’s solid AC throughout (trust me, you’ll want that from about May through October). Plus, parking’s straightforward, which might sound boring but you’ll be grateful when you’re coming back from a day trip to Luxor or wherever. The only thing I’d mention is that evenings can get a bit breezy, especially if you’re planning to spend time on any outdoor terrace – not a complaint really, just something to pack for. Honestly, between the location, the space, and having both beach and pool options right there, it’s the kind of setup that makes El Gouna feel less like a quick stopover and more like somewhere you could actually settle in for a proper break from everything.

  Probably the best stay I had in Houma so far. Place is very clean and well equipped, with a beautiful location in Mangroovy and access to pools and the beach. Jean was very supportive and communication was superb. Would definitely return again if I need to stay in gouna:)

  The apartment is very spacious, clean, comfortable, well furnished and has everything you need, the front and back yards are huge – a great place to gather. The location is perfect quiet for relaxation but a short minute walk to restaurants and grocery stores. The pool is right there and the beach is super close. Best location in Gouna for real. Jean is very caring to his guests, shares everything about the city, always a phone call away to help and is happy to make the stay the best it can be. Will definitely always be staying there when I go back!!

  I rarely write reviews, but this is a special case. This is the first time I've seen the owner of the apartment treat guests so attentively! He immediately sent detailed instructions on how to check into the room, where the cafes, restaurants and delivery are located after booking👍🏻 there was a small issue with cleaning, but everything was quickly resolved. My daughter forgot her jacket, the owner gave it to my friends 👏🏼 and also helped with the transfer to the airport. Thank you very much for such a welcome and such an attitude. Next time I'm in Elgun I'll try to live in the same place. I highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you 🙌🏻
