Gouna Pool view with rooftop living & BBQ grill

You know what caught me off guard about this place? I was expecting just another rental property when I turned onto Elgouna Club Road, but honestly, this spot feels more like staying at a friend’s really well-thought-out vacation home. The pool view hits you right when you walk in – and I mean actually hits you, not just some glimpse through a tiny window. We’re talking about a proper view that makes you want to grab a coffee and just sit there for a while.

The rooftop situation is where this place really shines, though. I’ve stayed at plenty of places in El Gouna (honestly, too many to count at this point), and most of them treat the rooftop like an afterthought. Not here. They’ve actually set it up as a proper living space with that BBQ grill that – surprise – actually works well. You can see straight across to the marina area from up there, and on clear evenings you get this whole panoramic thing going with the Red Sea mountains in the distance. The grill setup is decent quality too, not one of those flimsy tourist traps that falls apart after one use. We ended up cooking dinner up there most nights because, well, why wouldn’t you?

What I really appreciate is how they’ve handled the practical stuff that other places in El Gouna sometimes mess up. The Wi-Fi actually reaches the rooftop (learned that lesson the hard way at other rentals), and there’s enough seating that you’re not fighting over the one good chair. The whole place feels lived-in but not worn out, if that makes sense – like someone actually cares about maintaining it rather than just collecting booking fees. Parking is straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven around El Gouna’s winding roads will appreciate. The location puts you close enough to Abu Tig Marina that you can walk over for dinner, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the evening crowds and music when you want to chill out. That 9.8 rating makes sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be fancy, it’s just doing everything right without making a big deal about it.
