Okay, so I’ve stayed at quite a few places in Hurghada over the years, and honestly? This little gem on Sheraton Road completely caught me off guard. You know how sometimes you book a place and just hope it’s decent – well, GRACELAND (yes, they really went with that name) actually delivers on what those almost-too-good-to-be-true photos promise.

The thing is, flat 13 sits right in this sweet spot where you’re genuinely in the center of everything but not drowning in tourist chaos. I mean, you’re a two-minute walk from those bustling coffee shops where locals actually hang out, and the mini-markets that stay open until midnight when you realize you forgot sunscreen again. The Sheraton Road location means you can easily grab a taxi or microbus to the marina without the driver getting confused about where you’re going – which, let me tell you, happens more often than you’d think in some of the newer developments.

What really got me was how thoughtfully put together this apartment is. The owner clearly spent time thinking about what people actually need when they’re staying somewhere for more than just a night or two. The kitchen has proper plates and glasses, not those flimsy plastic things you find in most holiday rentals. There’s actually decent water pressure in the shower (I know, I know, but these details matter when you’re dealing with Red Sea salt and sand). The air conditioning works quietly – and I say this as someone who’s been kept awake by rattling units in other places that shall remain nameless. The Wi-Fi is solid too, which saved me during a work call that couldn’t wait.

The building itself feels safe and well-maintained, with that kind of relaxed security presence that makes you comfortable without feeling watched. Parking isn’t a nightmare, which anyone who’s driven in Hurghada will appreciate. And here’s something I didn’t expect – the neighborhood actually gets this nice evening breeze that makes sitting by the window with a cup of tea feel pretty perfect after a day of diving or beach-hopping.

Look, I’m usually skeptical of those 9.9 ratings because they often scream “fake reviews” to me, but this place genuinely earns it. It’s not fancy in that over-the-top resort way, but it’s comfortable and reliable in all the ways that actually matter when you’re trying to enjoy your time in Egypt. The host responds quickly to messages, check-in was smooth, and there weren’t any of those annoying surprise fees or weird rules that pop up sometimes.

If you’re planning to explore Hurghada properly – hitting up the local restaurants, maybe taking day trips to Luxor, or just wanting a proper base between Red Sea adventures – this is the kind of place that lets you live like a temporary local rather than feeling like you’re camping out in someone else’s space. Plus, at this price point for what you get, it’s honestly a bit of a steal.

  – We were two couples that rented the apartment for two weeks – good value for money.
  – Very welcoming hosts – both Kerolos (who was abroad at the time of our stay) and Michael (his co-host) were very helpful. Michael did the check-in and check-out for us, explaining everything in detail. Our arrival and departure times in Hurghada were very early in the morning but that wasn't an issue for Michael.
  – It is super well located next to one of the main boulevards. The area is very safe even if it doesn't look like that in the beginning.
  – Superb interior design, especially we loved the lightning of the ceiling (super cool idea). It honestly feels like you are at home as it's nice, clean and cozy.
  – All kinds of amenities are available inside the apartment – everything you need for cooking, for cleaning (if you happen to stay longer and need to), shampoo/ shower gel, a water dispenser etc.
  – You can find almost everything you need around the apartment – from supermarkets to pharmacies, nice restaurants, shops, barbershops and many more.
  
  What could be improved: Internet was the only inconvenience because it was very slow for those who are used to fast internet speeds elsewhere around the world. The max Download speed was 26.5 Mbps and Upload speed was 2.8 Mbps based on SpeedTest. When multiple devices connect to the wifi, you can't load pretty much anything.
  I would recommend you to buy a SIM card for an improved connection – I bought one from Orange and was able to achieve 40.7 Download and 13.3 Upload speed.

  Pełne wyposażenie lodówka zmywarka pralka kuchnia z piekarnikiem mikrofalówka i wszystkie możliwe przybory kuchenne. Nie brakowało niczego. Apartament spełnił moje oczekiwania w 100%. Świetny kontakt z właścicielem.

  Das Apartment liegt sehr zentral in Hurghada. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe vorhanden. Auch die Strände sind nicht weit von dem Apartment weg. In dem Apartment ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was man für einen schönen Urlaub benötigt. Alle Räume sind toll dekoriert und alles war sehr sauber. In jedem Zimmer befindet sich eine Klimaanlage, die man auch zum Heizen benutzen kann. Der Besitzer hat sofort auf kleine Probleme reagiert und sie auch unmittelbar reparieren bzw. austauschen lassen. (defekter Duschschlauch, defekter Aufzug). Es war für uns eine unvergessliche Zeit dort.
  
  What could be improved: Es gibt wirklich überhaupt nichts in dem Apartment auszusetzen.

  Struttura situata nei dintorni della via principale di Hurghada con supermercato e vari negozi vicino . Posizione eccellente in quanto ci si può spostare facilmente a piedi e con i taxi . La struttura è accogliente e molto pulita . È dotata di tutti i comfort : lavastoviglie lavatrice, forno e microonde , fono aria condizionata e Wi-Fi .
  L’ambiente è curato nei minimi dettagli ed è molto rilassante. Abbiamo trascorso un’intera settimana,i letti sono molto comodi e confortevoli così come anche l’ampia doccia .
  I proprietari sono molto attenti alle esigenze degli ospiti e hanno molto a cuore la loro struttura . Consiglio a tutti questo appartamento ❤️☺️

  Das Apartment ist sehr Europäisch eingerichtet. Alles vorhanden was man zum Kochen benötigt. Klimaanlage in allen Zimmern. Super Zentral. Doormen vorhanden. Fahrstuhl im Haus.
  
  What could be improved: Die Anfahrt war kompliziert, da es nicht gut beschrieben ist. Fahrer hatte Probleme es zu finden. Das Haus ist gelegentlich nachts laut. Von Waschmaschine bis hin zu lauten Unterhaltungen. Der Vermieter ist sehr bemüht, aber kann das auch nicht verhindern. Dennoch kann ich das Apartment grundsätzlich weiterempfehlen.
