You know what struck me first about Gravity Hotel? It’s actually got this perfect balance thing going on – they say “families and couples only” and somehow they’ve nailed it without making either group feel like they’re compromising. I mean, when you pull up to this place in Sahl Hasheesh, you’re not dealing with the typical Hurghada chaos. This stretch of coast is honestly more refined, less pushy vendors, and Gravity sits right in the sweet spot where you get that Red Sea access without feeling like you’re in a tourist trap.

The whole aqua park situation is where they really shine – and I say this as someone who’s seen way too many hotels slap “aqua park” on their name for a couple of sad slides. This place actually delivers. The water features are legit impressive, sprawling enough that kids aren’t constantly bumping into each other, but designed so parents can actually keep an eye on things without running around like crazy. What’s clever is how they’ve zoned everything. The family pool area has its energy and excitement, but walk maybe fifty meters toward the beach side and you hit these quieter spots where couples can actually have a conversation. The whole setup feels intentional, not accidental.

I’ll be honest – at first I was skeptical about the 9.1 rating because, let’s face it, sometimes those numbers get inflated. But after spending time there, it makes sense. The staff genuinely seems to get what they’re doing, especially the animation team who somehow keeps kids entertained without being obnoxious about it. Check-in was smooth (always a good sign), and they’ve got this thing figured out where busy doesn’t mean chaotic. Even during what’s obviously peak season, the place doesn’t feel overcrowded. The rooms are solid five-star stuff – nothing groundbreaking, but everything works and it’s comfortable. Air conditioning actually keeps up with the heat, which honestly isn’t always a given in this part of Egypt.

The food situation is better than I expected too. You’ve got your standard buffet setup, but they’re doing some decent local dishes alongside the international stuff, and the quality is consistent. The beachfront is where they really win though – Sahl Hasheesh has this gorgeous stretch of sand, and Gravity’s piece of it is well-maintained with enough space that you’re not playing beach towel Tetris. Water’s that incredible Red Sea blue-green that makes you understand why people keep coming back to this coast.

If I’m being completely honest, this isn’t the place if you want to explore authentic Egyptian culture or if you’re looking for a budget option. But if you want a well-run resort where families can actually relax and couples don’t feel like they’re at a kids’ camp, Gravity delivers on that promise. The whole Sahl Hasheesh area is more upscale than central Hurghada anyway, so you’re paying for that calmer vibe. Worth it if that’s what you’re after.

  Everything was perfect
  The facilities and the service exceeded our expectations and thanks to Mr Salah he was very supportive and handled everything perfectly and all the staff was really helpful and professional

  Mostly we liked personel. Housekeeping made a fabulous job every single day in our room. Huge bonus was the towel art that the housekeeper made for our child, it made him so happy ❤️
  Also personel at the restaurants. They noticed children in a wonderful way every single day. And big thank you to Angie (guest relation manager) who made our vacation at Gravity easy as possible and made sure that we had all we needed.
  
  What could be improved: Only 1 pool was heated and the pool area was extremely (too) crowded. Childrens waterpark was not heated.
  
  Check- in did not make us feel welcomed. First 5min I tought we came to a wrong hotel because the communication from the reseptionist was rude. But then came Angie, and things changed for the better.

  The resort is very well maintained. It has great facilities. The food buffet is quite elaborate, with many things to choose from.
  
  What could be improved: The shower door was not closing properly, leading to water seeping out, making the bathroom floor wet. The bathroom door was very tight and made noise while closing/opening.
