Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from a ground floor studio when I first pulled up to Building 18 on Elgouna Club Road – I mean, ground floor usually means you’re dealing with foot traffic and street noise, right? But this little gem at G Cribs completely flipped my assumptions. The moment you step inside, there’s this surprisingly calm, almost cozy vibe that makes you forget you’re literally at street level.

What really got me was how thoughtfully laid out everything is. The studio doesn’t feel cramped like so many places in El Gouna can – and trust me, I’ve stayed in my share of shoebox apartments around here. There’s actually breathing room, and the way the light filters in during the day creates this warm, lived-in atmosphere that photos just don’t capture. You know what struck me most? The attention to practical details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for more than a night. The kitchen setup is proper functional (not just a hot plate and mini-fridge situation), and there’s decent storage space – something you really appreciate when you’re unpacking for a longer stay.

The location is honestly perfect if you know El Gouna at all. You’re close enough to the main action that you can walk to most places, but far enough from the marina chaos that you can actually sleep at night. I was worried about noise being on the ground floor, but the building sits back from the main road just enough that it’s not an issue. Plus, you’re literally minutes from both the beach and the town center – that sweet spot where you feel connected but not overwhelmed by tourist crowds. The whole G Cribs operation runs pretty smoothly too; check-in was straightforward, and when I had a minor issue with the WiFi, someone actually showed up to fix it instead of just telling me to restart the router. Look, it’s not luxury – it’s a 3-star place and it knows what it is – but sometimes that’s exactly what you want. A clean, comfortable space where you can spread out, cook your own meals if you feel like it, and not feel like you’re camping in someone’s spare room. That 9.4 rating isn’t just people being generous; this place genuinely delivers on what it promises without trying to be something it’s not.

  From the moment I booked this property, the host was very helpful. Upon arrival. Everything was immaculate and in its place there was nothing that you will want for. from the kitchen to the bedroom to the outdoor furniture everything is top notch. No comfort has been spared. I can honestly tell you. It’s one of the very best bookings I’ve ever stayed in.
  
  What could be improved: There was nothing to dislike at this property! As someone who travels the world and has stayed at many bookings, Airbnb’s VBR I can honestly tell you I’m not an easy client to please but this place was amazing. I will definitely be back.

  Everything u need is there (nespresso machine, tissues, handsoap, dishes soap) even nice gesture of cold water in the fridge upon arrival.

  Even the host was generous and helpful when we had to be late upon check out.

  Its just so noisy if there are anyone using the pool because of the compund design any sound is echoed.
  But the window is not bad for sound isolation so you wont disturb ur sleep at the end 😉

  Great spot and we come here regularly. So many pools it is easy to find a quiet and empty one. Little terrace and on ground floor is nice. Kitchen is well stocked.
