Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be straight with you about Hadaba Studio – it’s one of those places that surprised me in Hurghada, and honestly, I almost walked past it the first time. The location on Street 1st isn’t the flashiest address, but here’s what you need to know: you’re actually in a pretty sweet spot. I mean, you’re close enough to the main tourist strip that you can walk to the decent restaurants and shops, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the constant honking and chaos that comes with staying right in the thick of things.
The studio setup is perfect if you’re like me and prefer having your own space rather than just a hotel room. You’ve got a kitchenette – nothing fancy, but functional enough that I was making my morning coffee and even cooking simple meals when I got tired of restaurant food every single day. The AC works well (crucial in Hurghada, trust me), and the Wi-Fi is reliable, which honestly puts it ahead of some four-star places I’ve stayed at along the Red Sea coast. What really sold me was how quiet it gets at night. You know how some places in Hurghada can be pretty noisy with street vendors and late-night activity? Well, this little pocket of the city actually settles down after evening hours, so you can get proper sleep before your diving or snorkeling trips.
The staff genuinely seems to care about getting things right – check-in was smooth, and when I had a question about getting to the marina for a boat trip, they didn’t just point me in a direction but actually called ahead to make sure the taxi driver knew exactly where to go. It’s those small touches that make a difference when you’re navigating a place for the first time. Now, I won’t sugarcoat it – this isn’t a luxury resort with a pool and spa services. The building itself is pretty straightforward, and if you’re expecting marble lobbies and concierge services, you’re looking at the wrong place. But for the price point and the solid 7 rating it’s earned, Hadaba Studio delivers exactly what it promises: a clean, comfortable base where you can actually relax between adventures. The neighborhood has that authentic Egyptian feel without being overwhelming for travelers, and there’s a decent local market within walking distance where you can grab snacks and water bottles without paying tourist prices. If you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring Hurghada’s incredible underwater world or day-tripping to nearby attractions, this place gives you everything you need without unnecessary frills – and your wallet will thank you for it.

Reviews
Sheri from Canada – 24 April 2025 (4/10)
Good location on quiet street, host allowed early check-in, bright & spacious.
What could be improved: Gas for stove/oven did not work and host unable to do anything (so no cooking).
The toilet did not flush and when the knob was adjusted to re-establish water, it began to leak very badly from the stem (risk of flooding the apartment).
In the morning, both the power and water were shut off (we figured out that power RFID card had been removed for the suite, shutting these down).
When the host was notified, he promised a repair but after an hour of waiting no one came (and when we enquired he said the repair person was unavailable). He offered a refund but we have so far only received a "reward" from Booking.com for half the amount of the room.
What an inconvenience.Roman from Czech Republic – 24 October 2024 (8/10)
