Instead, you get this quieter pocket of Hurghada where you can actually hear yourself think – though you’re still close enough to everything that matters. The staff here gets that balance right; they’re genuinely helpful without hovering, and I noticed they remember your name after the first day (small detail, but it matters when you’re away from home for weeks like I was).

What really sold me was how the place handles the little things that drive you crazy elsewhere. The Wi-Fi actually works in your room – not just the lobby – and the water pressure is consistent even during peak hours. I mean, anyone who’s traveled through Egypt knows that’s not always a given. The rooms have this lived-in comfort that doesn’t feel staged; real blackout curtains that actually block the desert sun when you need that afternoon nap, and enough power outlets placed where you’d actually use them. The air conditioning runs quietly too, which might sound trivial until you’ve spent a sleepless night listening to a unit that sounds like a helicopter landing.

The neighborhood vibe is pretty authentic – you’ll hear the call to prayer from nearby mosques, catch the scent of actual Egyptian cooking from local spots (not just tourist-friendly versions), and see families going about their daily routines.   Appartement très confortable dans une résidence sécurisé avec accès à la piscine qui est un vrai plus.
  Localisation en dehors du centre ville mais c'était exactement ce que je cherchais en terme de localisation.
  Kemery est très attentionné et disponible !!
  
  What could be improved: La météo faisait qu'il y avait beaucoup de vent et donc du sable entrant dans l'appartement… Mais ce n'était pas très dérangeant !
