You know what surprised me about Hurghada Aldau Heights Studio? The location is actually pretty brilliant – tucked away on Alfondok street where you get that authentic Egyptian neighborhood vibe without being stuck in tourist trap central. I mean, it’s not flashy from the outside, honestly looks like a regular residential building, but that’s sort of the charm of it.

The studio setup works really well if you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re actually living somewhere rather than just passing through. There’s enough space to spread out your dive gear (because let’s be real, that’s why most people end up in Hurghada), and the kitchenette is surprisingly functional – I actually used it, which says something since I’m usually too lazy to cook on vacation. The whole place has this lived-in comfort that you don’t get in those sterile resort rooms. Sure, it’s a 3-star spot so don’t expect marble bathrooms or fancy linens, but everything works and it’s genuinely clean. The air conditioning keeps up with the Egyptian heat, which honestly is half the battle won right there.

What I really appreciated was how the local area comes alive in the evenings – you’ll hear the call to prayer drifting over from nearby mosques, kids playing football in the street, that sort of authentic daily rhythm that makes you feel connected to the place. The neighbors are friendly too, though not everyone speaks English (Google Translate is your friend). Getting around is easy enough – plenty of taxis know the area, and it’s close enough to the marina district that you’re not paying crazy fares to get to the dive shops or restaurants. Parking can be a bit chaotic during busy times, but that’s just Egypt for you. The 8.2 rating makes sense when you consider what you’re getting for the price point – it’s not trying to be something it’s not, just a solid, comfortable base where you can actually relax between Red Sea adventures.

  1. It’s quite, and coozy.
  2. Kitchenware and kitchen appliances are soooo good 😊 (electric cooker isn’t for big meals).
  3. Location was central for all Hurgada.

  What could be improved: 1. Cleanliness, the bed sheets are worn out, blankets, and Sofa’s fabrics too, Everything were dusty.
