You know what? When I first pulled up to Hurghada apartment luxury 001 on Safaga Road, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from the name – it’s a bit of a mouthful, honestly. But this place really surprised me in the best way possible. It sits right on that stretch of road heading toward Safaga, which means you’re close enough to Hurghada’s action but far enough out to actually get some peace and quiet. The locals just call this area “the apartments district,” and once you’re there, you’ll see why – it’s where Egyptian families actually live, not just the tourist bubble.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s well-loved second home rather than a sterile hotel room, which I mean in the absolute best way. The owner clearly put thought into the details – there’s this gorgeous tile work in the bathroom that’s definitely local craftsmanship, and the kitchen actually has everything you need if you want to hit up the little market down the road (it’s about a five-minute walk, you can’t miss it). What really got me was the balcony situation – you can see the Red Sea in the distance, and honestly, watching the sunrise with Egyptian coffee while the neighborhood slowly wakes up became my daily ritual. The building itself is quiet, mostly Egyptian families and a few long-term visitors, so you’re not dealing with party crowds or slamming doors at 3 AM.

The location is actually perfect if you know how to work it. Sure, you’re not stumbling distance from the marina, but the local bus stops right outside and costs practically nothing – the drivers are friendly and most speak some English. There’s a little café called Abu Ahmed’s about two blocks down where you can get the most incredible ful medames for breakfast (the owner’s wife makes it fresh every morning), and honestly, that alone made my stay. The apartment has this solid AC that actually works – not always a given in this heat – and the Wi-Fi is surprisingly reliable, which matters if you’re trying to upload all those Red Sea photos. I will say the hot water takes a minute to kick in, but that’s pretty standard around here, and once it’s going, you’re golden. The whole experience just feels authentic, you know? Like you’re getting a real taste of how people actually live in Hurghada, not the resort version of Egypt.

  Great small apartment, which is centrally located in Kawther. Restaurants, supermarket, bank, etc. Everything is within walking distance.
  
  It is also less than 5 minutes to the airport. Host Mahmoud is very friendly and I will continue to rent from him in the future
