Sometimes the best discoveries come when you’re not trying too hard to impress anyone, and this little gem actually gets that philosophy right.

The thing about staying here is that you’re positioned perfectly between the chaos of downtown Hurghada and the quieter resort strips heading toward Safaga. I mean, you’re far enough from the main tourist madness that you can actually sleep at night (trust me, if you’ve ever stayed near Sheraton Road during peak season, you’ll appreciate this), but close enough that a quick taxi ride gets you to the marina or the old town souks without breaking the bank. The apartment setup is what really won me over though – there’s something refreshing about having your own space instead of the cookie-cutter hotel room experience. You’ve got a proper kitchenette, which honestly saved me a fortune since eating out for every meal in Hurghada can add up fast, especially if you’re staying for more than a few days.

What struck me most was how the staff actually seemed to care about making your stay work for you, rather than just going through the motions. The guy at reception – I think his name was Ahmed – knew exactly which local dive shops offered the best deals for Red Sea trips, and he steered me away from the tourist traps without me even asking. That’s the kind of local insight you just don’t get at the big chain places. The building itself is clean and well-maintained, nothing fancy but everything works properly (the AC is a godsend during those scorching afternoon hours), and there’s decent parking if you’re brave enough to rent a car and navigate Egyptian traffic. The location means you’re also close to some of the better local restaurants that tourists usually miss – there’s this incredible seafood place about ten minutes walk toward the coast that I never would have found otherwise. Sure, it’s not going to win any architectural awards, and the Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty during busy evening hours, but for the price point and the genuine hospitality, Hurghada Apartment Tourist delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense.

    alles war perfekt. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Sie liegt in einer Straße mitten in der Stadt. Alles was man braucht, kann man leicht erreichen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr sehr freundlich. Er kümmert sich um alle Belange. Wir waren rundum sehr zufrieden
